1" should be enough for a handlebar riser.its about 25mm increment.Anything more I believe your brake lines/hoses etc need to be change to a longer one.

Hi all

I am thinking of upgrading to ST but need some of your views

Is parking in Singapore more challenging compared to the smaller bikes

Is it easy to pick up the bike when it's on its side. I am 1.67m and abt 80 Kg

Thks

we r about the same height & weight.

if compare to GL1500(goldwing), parking ST isnt that difficult, u need is to have in mind where u wana park & how to park it.

riding & handling u need to experience it urself, its a matter of getting use to it niah, dont get frighten with its weight.

I, 1.62m tall and 55kg weight, am riding an ST11. Its a matter of getting use to. Drop cannot carry, get help nearby. Plan before parking will save u heaps of trouble. Still can go in between cars. Full stand must be somewhere that is level and not full tank. All of the above is according to my specs. Others may not have the problem. So far, no problem. Cheers!

it's acutally a very simple pair of handle bar clamp of any bike with the similar handle size, u need to fix it beneath the handle with an extended length of screw niah...

I'll try to make a pic to show u how it look like.

will or does the STX1300 have the same depreciation rate as the ST11? i understand it was launched in '03 if not wrong.

IMO ..the depreciation is not much.ST11 has been known to have been a robust n wonderful workhorse that suits its intended needs.STX although its been intro few years back, due to its reliability and functionality having similar stds the price would have been maintained all this while.Think withing honda sport tourer we have only ST11 and STX...unlike Super4, have many versions so perhaps when new models within the same contender are out..the price for previous model depreciates.
