Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB

hmm actually im was asking for a sum up. but anyways jus that i tot could get some info. should be getting a st. i am worried that riding the st might be not fun. surely not as fun as a sport bike but i am still a touring person so sports still hurts me back.

Hi ST riders (Esp new ST rider just boiught your bike),

Recently saw afew ST at Loois and New Southern.

They qoute the price for FS plate 12.8k and FT for 13.8k for machine price.

Is it ex.?

After add GST (5%), road tax and insurance, transfer fee and 'Stamp' fee, the price OTR will cost FS plate 14.5k and FT plate 15.5k. (Est price)

Oh still got (6%) interest but that exclude OTR price.

Basically does these cost abit ex. or resonable?

Any ST Rider just bought the bike with FS or FT plate?

Will like to compare the price first.

Condition and cosmetic for those bike still satisfy me.

If you wanna race with me,

you sure win cos i dont race, i ride

Hi there,

Seriously speaking st and sportsbike is one big different world...

talking abt reponse, pick up , and handling... sportsbike is definitely better then a st1100.

But a thought of it .. you can still ride a sports tourer if you really wanna tour...

The choice is yours , think wise...

Posted

i second that....

why take up a ST if u still have a mentality of wanting the sports feel

then become unhappy about ST not as good in some way...

like SpEr says u want sport's feeling... and Tourer Comfort

then ... give in a little here and there and WALAH !!!!

Ho Normen11,

Price of bikes or other things u buy, there will be a range of price.

And also depends on the market demand and the conditions of the bike.

Price, term and condition, interest all are neg.

And can't compare with those who get their bike recently.

some get it cheap some get it X. wat u can do is ask around those shop selling ST and find out the price range.

:goodluck: in ur hunting

hi kish_garfield,

try to get newer version of ST1100, ie Pan-Euro models.

ST1100 cant perform the way like a sports bike do, u need to carefully consider the performance before committing it else.....

considering of comfort & reliablity, only few or no machine come closer to ST1100. ST1100 fulfil most of the expectations on highways & freeways.

a feedback got from an ex-S4 rider, he regreted getting ST1100 too late.

all along i am a sit straight naked bike person. good friend sighko me abt sports bike. well i feel in love with only the wind protection. but back hurts when carry stuff n pillion for700km++ahhhhhhhhhh!!! and no wear to put stuff.

so i alway afraid st cant take simple corners. one thing i am very short but the ST is short for seat height for my current bike. by 25mm only. was thinking of cutting the seats n lower profile tyres but read n foun out not safe. i am jus afraid cant handle the weight.

My bikes is v twin so difintiley heavy n seems weight distributin not fantastic. tried jack to main stand on Black bird. 3rd try then ok. clumsy look for ST when stationary???
