Hey Terence,

yes, I just got my ST. Thanks for the viewing the other time. My clutch now quite far and hard. I remember my other bike can be adjusted so I thought this can be adjusted as well. Hmmm....

When I got my st11 , I also found the clutch too far. There is really not much adjustment possible. I even went to ask Gopa but he says st11 is uses clutch fluid not like bikes that uses clutch cables, so not much adjustment possible unless he cut short the length of the pin in the clutch pump. Anyway, I "retrained" myself and got used to it and it's great now!

Hello guys... Just bought a ST 11. Had been riding for 3 days when it breakdown this afternoon. All the power supply & engine got cut off. There're not a single lighting available even with the ignition switch in the 'on' position. Anybody encounter similar incident. Pls shed some light

Kano, Txs for replying...! I'd check the terminals, boTh +ve & -ve terminals are properly secured. Could it be the battery itself? Had check with the bike owner, he said battery is a new one. Bike still stranded... Sigh! Any suggestions anyone?

Oh... I didn't realized it's not on clutch cable. Yeah man. Retraining myself. Gotta wear gloves cause it hurts. Haha. And oh ya. Trying to get used to the weight. I thought Africa Twin was heavy enough, this felt worse. Haha.

Is yr Ignition key original or change before ? Very likely is the key switch.. Turn-On&Off again does it work ? did manage to turn after that ?

Kano, kill switch is off & there's no indication on the clock. Everything is like "Dead". I manage to open up the side fairings & check the fuse box,all fuse is good. Learnt from some one that it could be the starter relay. Found the starter relay & pull it out, true enough the '25A' fuse found blown. I swapped with another fuse, and manage to revive the bike again. Later tonight riding back home, same thing happened again. Tired from pushing the bike uphill a few distance, gave up and chuck one corner. Any idea what's the culprit? Pls help. In stress....

Bro Terence, come to think of it, I did sent my bike to the shop to repair on my handle lock problem. Apparently my handlebar can't be locked. The mech took ouT the ignition Assy and sent it for repair. It came back with a new set of keys & the handle lock problem gone. Then this current problem surfaced. I did turn on & off the ignition, nothing happened. Bro Terence can check out my post #5511 as well? Txs!

Bro,

Very high chance r ur intake manifolds cracked due to ageing, resulting to too much air sipping into engine during combustion causing too lean air fuel mixture therefore backfiring boobs. Intake manifolds r the 4pc a set of rubber clamp to hold the carburetor onto engine.

Can be easily DIY with simple tools & some grease.

thanks so much bro. any idea which fairing i should be taking out to check this manifold? and should i replace the entire manifold? sorry for the newbie question, cause i not too sure myself, but willing to learn. :)

Blowing a 25A fuse would be quite serious... base on yr bike maintenance history very likely is the repaired key sw connection might be the cause. To blow a 25A fuse the positive & negative must have short-cct.

Go back to the wkshp to ensure the sw connection are properly connected +ve not tonching any part of the bike body.(sometime few strand of the wire sticking out ) This is quite normal when the mechanic are not careful...

U're right brother... There's a naked wire exposed which may come into contact with the bike body. Did some splicing & wrapped with insulation tape. So far, everything's OK now! Txs guys!

Gents,

I would like to redo the hazardlight for my bike. Any recommandations?

Thanks in advance.

:)

What happen none reply you on the above ? where is yr current hazard light located? when is the new location you want to mount ?

If it is expose to open weather the a waterproof switch must be use.
