I know this might sound a bit ridicules, but I heard stories that metzzeler z6 doesn't wobble for this bikeand it is the tires that makes the difference. I don't know why this bike is so sensitive. I also don't believe that this can be true. So just waiting to see if superblackbox is also not using metzzeler z6 tires.

I am using metzzeler z6 so far not wobble.

You might also want to consider putting this thing called ride-on in your tires. It is a tire sealant n it is also suppose to self balance the tires. I have it added, it did feel better but my bike wasn't wobbling before I even added them. I add them for puncture protection but I found the handling improved as well. You can do a Internet search on "ride-on"

Thanks for the info. I will take a look at it.

Process is 10mins...:p

Just need to pump it into the tires through the Air valve.

Price depends on amount. St1100 $70 both tires. Scooter should be much cheaper.

1. Bought 50mm risers sw-motech black online.

2. Black anodized my handlebars at seng kwang.. Hmm... It looks more like painted though, not what I'm expecting anodized to look like.

3. Bought s850 givi universal gps holder Which secures to a bike by velcro straps. Able to fit any bikes and hold most gps. no fear if I change bikes or gps.. Hehe

Just DIY installed the risers today, luckily no re- routing of wires/ cables needed.

The ride position is GOOD.:thumb:

Got chance n got time will post pics. ::cool:

Hi Everyone,

I am a newbie in ST11. just bought the ride and love it, although i spend a lot of waste repair then found Go Pa, but after riding for a while, still found my fuel consumption a bit high. I get around 13.5km per litre, How's everybodies? Is my bike the only odd ball?

Mine is 16-17km per liters. I think that is what you should be getting unless you are a hell rider or do you actually do a lot of city(start, stop, traffic lights) riding?

Else in IMO, I think your bikes might need to tune the carbs...that's what I would check. Can look at your spark plugs as advise by pepper crab, I think if it's all covered with carbon, you are running too rich.

Thanks icewater and pepper crab,

Now the bike more stable already. I swap from Vpower to Fuel save 95. Change the gear to fifth gear without much drag. Fuel seems more stable and can see visual improvement. Looking forward to the next top up to see the result.

Cheers!

Hi, this ride-on thingy. Does it get messy when you change tires ?

Like the sealant left inside..

So it can be done on both new & used tires ?

There's a similar product call rhino-tires which can only be done on

new tires..

Thanks.

bro, the shop do the removal tires ? and they re-install back too? or we need to to just bring the tires to them?

unique motor quoted rhino like abt SGD200++ if not wrong for both tires. IF am not mistaken, it can be done on used tires provided there was no punctured holes at all

No it's not messy. It's actually not a new thing, there are other similar products out there in the market. There is quite a bit on YouTube about ride-on. I think there is one video where it shows the tires being removed with ride-on.

Just ride the bike there, they install it by pumping the sealant into the tires through the air valve. The shop is actually a car tire shop but it is a retailer for ride-on. I actually emailed the uk ride-on people to check that the ride-on mixture that they use in the shop is suitable for motorcycles. They are using the commercial high speed(CHS) mixture.

Try searching under "tire protection system" or "TPS"

under google. I think there are a few other brands out there but I must say ride-on is quite popular.

Gentlemen, please advise. Apart from Gopa, is there any other mechanic whom charges reasonable and knows exactly what he is doing? Or some one that charge only workman where we will buy the parts for him. I need to change my gasket, break pump leaking, steering cone etc..

Thank you.

Can try Planent Motor (Ah Chong) or Sporting Motor (Meng Tong).

Sporting is not cheap though, I've never been to Gopa so I don't know his prices.

the only small issue that I have with mengtong is that I find that he is not very gentle with the fairings n plastic covers. st11 happens to have quite a lot... haha but i guess most mech are like that. maybe I will remove the panels myself next time I go there

Hi Deanonly,

GoPa though his price a bit high on the charges, but he really does the job to quality. I have been thru many workshops before knowing him. Trust me, you don't wanna spent the money that cannot get the problem resolve.

Go look for Ah Hai at Sin Boon Motors,

local mechanic very experience with big bikes..

my former ST11 done by him...

I am on bridgestone OEM tyres.

M using Z6 now.. but seems it is only found at Gopa there.

I used before Z6, Z4 (when i got the bike) , BT 020 & 021.

When tires are in good condition. no wobbling.. its only maybe after 70% usage.. (tire wont be that round as before)

wobbling may happen due to tire air pressure as well.

Also balancing.. was it done when u fix yur tires? Its a must for me both front and back.

I miss my Spec II...
