Just to check, does the fc drop as the bike gets older? When I get the bike, I get an average 16-17km/L. 2 years down the road only 15km/L. What should check to see if I can get better fc? Thanks.

as a matter of fact, from the little knowledge i have, it dos get lesser. for example, my ex-phantom. it was giving me about 33km/l and after I overhauled, it gave me a constant 40km/l. big difference. so for our big bikes, i think the same applies. the older the bikes get, the worse the FC but i think it will be our job to make sure the parts which are meant to be changed, r changed properly so that the FC can be maximised.

Hi Gentleman,

I am a new ST11 owner. Just got a 2000 model ST but have not really try out its maximum performance. So far still healthy. Keeping my finger cross on this old machine. Btw, are there anymore ST riders here. It seem like many had sold their ST bikes.

Really hope to hear some respond and advice from you senior here on ST11...

Thanks.

yup. I know, very mafan to keep pumping. wire harness if never open and do anything before, you think necessary to change?

Old bike, wire harden so keep burning here and there. Can solve by cutting off the burn part and crip a new connector but long run wire will get shorter so change the harness since I renew the Coe and will be keeping her for a long time to come...

what is the reason for that bro? to communicate with other bikers or ur pillion?

Hi bro, because I noticed that there are two small opening (the size of the tweeter) near the side panel. Probably the previous owner had fitted a radio headset and removed it leaving the tweeter behind. So I was wondering if anyone has fitted a radio headset like those fitted on a goldwing. Just curious.

Thanks

Hi, im a newbie here & a proud owner of possibly the ugliest st11 on earth. Hehe. Its a matt black 96' with no fairings & all cos ex owner got into an accident. So far the best bike ive ridden in years! Loved the smooth feeling.

My bike is parked at planet today(sun) cos theres an oil leak that i saw near the under belly.

Anyone can advise me what would be the possible cause? I assume i need to overhaul the engine?

The last time i had this it was due to a leak in the gasket from the spark plug cam cover or whatever its called. Just changed gaskets both sides and no more leak. apparently it leaks slowly and trickle down the side of the engine block and goes down the bottom of the belly pan where you see spots on the floor.
