wat's the diff from st 11 n st 13 ah????

i am thinkin abt getting st.... sick n tired of sports bike liao....

any bro sellin???? will get a st ard early next yr after i got a stable job...

maintance wise le??? ex a not???? or abt the same as all the class 2 bikes???

then can corner???? will it buang if corner too low???

sorrie 4 askin stupid question.....

 

hope dat the maintance will not b veri ex.... can't take it on my R6 liao.... fuel comsumpition ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

thinkin of a curiser dat can put a lot of things... then gf will not nag nag nag.... then more comfort 4 her also

difference is current model ST1100 & advance model STX1300, right from the beginning ST1100 is highly reputable compared to other tourer machine world wide.

 

maintenance cost is slightly higher than S4, general wear & tear components r common, easily obtained from any Honda dealer or stockist. so far no 'chiong' stock for ST1100..

 

ST1100 is a very economical 'touring' machine if it's well taken care of & riding it prudently.

 

my pillion never complain & can take longer ride duration with ST1100...

 

i'm sure hsp_89 can different shade better between sports bike & ST1100..

just came back from albert bikeshop

he offer me 11k 4 my baby

n he is tryin to look 4 a st11 for me...

but don know will it b problem free....

 

i had heard from my friend abt st11....

once drop...cost up to 30+ if i remember clearly

small small skid cost abt 100+

 

there's no slider or swingarm slider rite???

don know i need a st11 a not... cos most of the time i am in singapore... hai... but i am sick of sports bike liao... go to malacca.... can die.... travel for 2hrs... back ache.... somemore not veri stable at high speed(240km)

 

if like once a mth or once every 2-3 mth go touring wat bike should i get????

is ST11 overkill????

There's this small little "wing" that protect the ST's on both left n right side...

If u want to ride 240km/h with an ST then probably have to wait for

the Honda ST11 RRRR production...

 

St11 is a bike which bring u long distance with comfort and can say

safely... Back will not ach la...

 

If u are into Touring ... here in this tread... confirm a ST will be the best...

 

the "little wing" is called the Side Engine Guard Cover... which cost u about $20

to replace...

 

Itr is not advicable to use the beaST for "kupping corner"

it can be done but imagine the heart pain from the replacement of parts

anyway the beaST is 300kg heavy not inclusive of your weight...

heyo to the cool79. dont worry. there are st riders who were previous sports bike rider. including me.

 

afew immediate diff u feel once u purchase a st.

- slower response

- not tat fast

- not so flashy

 

if u lookin for practicallity, st sure not wrong but if u want every fun and break neck speed or response then stay wit a sports bike.

 

Personally i do really miss my sports bike. espeacially track session. but cant afford 2 so when can sure will get weekend sports bike. but long comfort riding sure die early

Congrats in getting your ST. Headlight protector can be purchased from Motoworld. Not sure about price though,

The clutch freeplay really far man...my fingers always stretched fully in order to catch the biting point...and worst part is when I tried on main stand..haha..can't even move the bike a single inch at all..

me also get mine around mths ago but got no chance to go down for gathering due to wed night classes

 

but at the beginning i also got a real hard time putting this monster on main stand sometimes pushing the bike out of the parking lot oredi sweat liao............ but after everyday "training" finally 1 fine day can liao so i think nid sometimes to get use of the bike 1st b4 u start to love the bike...

You can change the clutch level, ard $60 a pair.
