Hi guys. need some advice on this matter..

Im currently the subrider for my bike as im COI from someone..

i would like to get an aftermarket pipe for my ride and preferably 2nd hand...

Im aware that i would need to transfer the ownership of the pipe...

So do i need to transfer it to the owner of the bike? or issit possible that i transfer the pipe ownership to me?

please enlighten!:cheeky:

If not wrong, need to transfer to the owner of the bike. This is because the registration is tied to the bike. Thus the bike is registered to the owner. You will need to get the owner's NRIC (Owner no need to go down, if not wrong) for the admin & inspection part.

pls ensure that u have an authorisation form filled up by owner (allowing u to send vehicle for pipe inspection on his behalf) prior to heading down to do vehicle inspection after fixing the new pipe.

not too sure if form is available online. but this was the stunt thrown to me when i sent my family car for pipe inspection on my dad's behalf at STA Sin Ming.

nick better if u buy from the guy 1st then don't transfer yet.

write a white and black from the pipe seller that he have sold u the pipe and won;t back out.

after u finish installment, u change the ownership of the bike to ur name and also at the same time change ownership of the pipe=)

2 birds in 1 stone.

then just go for 1 time inspection.

bro,

COI business better leave it as it is. Don do any mod. If not later the bike got problem after mod, things become ugly between two parties. If you are into mod, do it on your bike instead
