- don't forget to lube and ensure the correct tension on ur chain.

- for my tube tyres I use TYRE REPAIR FOR MOTORCYCLE AND SCOOTER http://www.super-help.com. I bought the last can of tyre inflator for bikes from autobacs singapore, bukitbatok. bigger cans (for cars and bikes) are still available.

Read instruction clearly, esp the part about tyre orientation prior to pumping it in. Have NOT used it before and DON'T hope to ever have to use it!

For repairing and inflating instantly, without dismounting the wheel every kind of tyre - with or without tube. It acts deeply into the tyre forming a special sealing film which ensures an efficacious repair.

For tubeless tyres there are more options, go to bike shops to check out what take ur fancy. eg. LAB.

- ermm...for 2T i am using belray as it is formulated to prevent the piston ring from sticking together.

u can use the normal tire repair kit bought at mustaffa if u like...also u can bring a portable pump...saw a petite type jus opposite the tire repair kit shelves on the top floor at mustaffa...alternatively i jus saw one cheap short pump at giant at tamp...i prefer that one...short n compact...cheap too

-extra spark plug and wat do u call the tool?? socket ranch???

i tink its called spark plug socket...dont use the normal socket....wait fall into the hole n difficult to take out...haha..happen to me when i use the normal socket to take out the spark plug...the socket accidentally loosen from the socket bar n drop inside...took half an hr n almost a heart attack to take it out..dumb man..

-extra 2T(heard motul is the good)

any type as long as fully synthetic.....used to use mobil fully 1l for 10 bucks last time....i tink some pple wld remember this deal....did an experiment using cheapest semi n cheapest mineral 2t on rides up n down kl..was a student on tight budget...cant afford expensive 2t...n polish the piston until no more carbon covering it b4 each trip

full syn:almost no carbon on piston head even after up n down trips from kl to spore n valve just slightly oiled with excess 2t...

semi:got a slight layer of carbon deposits n slightly some residue on power valve choking it

mineral:the worst....very smoky...piston head virtually layered w carbon n have to sand paper for some time to clean it....power valve literally choke with excess 2t as mineral 2t i guess not fully burnt....

I ride at 70km/hr only...please please dont blow2 at me or overtake me dangerously....wait i change into Incredible Hulk n dont know why my little baby bike will always be ahead of u if u do that

Do a servicing before your trip. Tell your mechanic that you are going for a ride outside Singapore.

Do also bring extra brake lever, clutch lever and clutch cable for spares if you have the space.

For tire repair kit, don't use those from Mustaffa. The worm keeps slipping out from the hole. My friend just experience it in our Lao / Thailand trip in Jan. Have to stop 3 times because of the worm slipping out.

I guess it's probably relatively safer to ride 2B bikes in malaysia because availability of bike shops in malaysia for their local bikes. Enjoy your trip and have fun.

wow this is good proof that using top grade 2t makes a lot of difference to a 2 stroker. also, read this http://www.dansmc.com/seizure.htm

dun high rev your bike for too long periods, alternate the rpms and make sure your radiator is working effectively to prevent seized piston.
