Gettting Some Tracktime

I am seriously thinking about setting up my RD350 lc for the track and want to find out the easiest way to go about getting onto a race track from Singapore.

 

Is it easy andviable to ride across to PG and do track days. What happens when I crash, will I get screwed getting the bike back to Singapore?

 

Is it easy / possible to rent a van to drive myself to take a bike aross to Malaysia to take on the track? Do you get hassle from the authorities?

Riding across to PG and even Sepang in Kuala Lumper is something that we have been doing for close to 10 years. It is quite easy and viable, but frought with risks, so you have to be careful and not take things for granted.

 

But it is always good to have someone you can call in case you decide that you want your bike towed in and out, or need assistance.

 

If you want to rent a Singapore registered van, it has to have special permits to enter as commercial vehicles with Singapore plates are not allowed in.

 

Call this guy and tell him that the Rev Club recommended you.

They help us with towing for our private trackdays at Sepang, for those that do not want to ride up with our group; and I use them exclusively for my personal stuff.
