Hey Bro's and Sisters....

It's birthday time again...but this time is Baby Christopher's 1 year Bday.

So obviously you all invited, but it not gonna be at my house, so need to know numbers so can organise catering.

This is the venue:

52A Toh Tuck Road

Signature Park

596744

Date: 15 August (Sunday)

Time: 4:30pm - 8:00pm

Function Room is located at the Clubhouse on the first floor (up the stairs) opposite management office. Guards will direct visitors to visitors parking lots on entering the boomed entrance. Guests can just tell guards that they are going to the function room birthday party. I will have advised them of this beforehand.

Also, there is pool as well if y'all like or let your little one's have some water fun also.

You are welcome to come earlier to enjoy the facilities, but we only have use of the function room from 4:30pm.

Hope to see you all there, will be great as most of you have known him since he was born.

Any queries please call me: 94217497

Just collected my bike from Sporting Motors 2day.

After doin the Valve Clearance, I notice that the engine is running smother & more stable than before. I CAN'T say its more powerful but definitely much better throttle responds.

Overall..... very happy with the results

Thx for the gud 'Lobang' JoeBoxer

hello twinterror, i was reading your thread about the valve adjust.. i'm looking for shop to check over my new purchase 07 TDM. bike has only 18,000k but seems like bike running a bit rough thru 3500-4500 rpm range. as i've mostly been riding ducati's and beemers last 10 years the "feel" of the TDM is new and different...i thought maybe clutch wear causing vibration (seems to be worse under load) or maybe needs some valve adjustment..can only speculate. anyway, thought it best to look for TDM specialist shop. i've been to few shops around town already with my ducati, all good so far but seems like each one has it's own specialty. cheers

Hi there,

hmmm.... 07model with 18000km. Did u buy the red tdm that came wif the red bagster tank bra?

Anyway bro, Joeboxer recomended Sporting Motors at Auto Bay(Bedok Reservoir) to me & I was very satisfied with how detail the mechanic Meng Tong was.

I just bought a TDM myself so I tink its the other guys here on this forum that'll know which are the shops that specializes in TDM.

Cheers

hey 2wheelsonly...

you can do a few minor adjustments to check the rough spot.

strangly 3500~4500 should be my crusing RPM..

1. air filter (change to K&N)

2. CO setting from dash (you can adjust to run rich, lean)

3. check scott oiler connections (coz TakeHow mentioned that it could cause rough spot)

we have different mechnics all over island.

1. combine motor (Joekia)

2. RPM (autobay) (joeboxer)

3. Sporting Motor (atuobay)

4. Rosli - RS Motor (autobay)

5. Planet and KnT (ubi)

and dont forget Hong Leong also service TDM but they charge larbour and service charge is a killer ..

here's how to check CO setting, if u got itchy hands.. for mine, -5 is good.. too much (-) negative and bike easy to die off.. too rich (+), petrol consume more..

hope you get ur problem sorted and enjoy parallel twin..

http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/index.php?page=MODE_CO

http://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/images_OTHER/panel00.gif

1 - Press the SELECT button in order to increase the number up to 128 = RICHEN the mixture.

2 - Press the RESET button in order to decrease the number down to -128 = LEAN the mixture.

okay, thanks for the tips. maybe nothing wrong but rather have somebody take a look first, esp somebody already running TDM. i agree, sweet spot for cruising is 3500-4500..this bike already has K&N. i was thinking the mixture maybe too lean with the K&N and no exhaust ign control. let's see what the experts say.

thanks! if you see a TDM throwing flames it's probly mine after CO adjust..
