what tyre are you looking for ? road ? semi-offroad ?

 

joekia got continential tyre from ah boy very good price.

or if u can pay mor,e go for michellin pilot road2 from unique or HKL, they got good deal for both front and rear package.

 

pilot road 2 is very good and sticky for corners, dual compound so it wont wear off the middle part easily.

 

I just replaced "tired" michelin rp2 with metz z6. the rp2 wear pattern 'V' shape on front tire due to dual compound, makes for funny handling...so far quite happy with Metzlers.. http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/402/120/Motorcycle-Article/Metzeler-Z6-Tires-Review.aspx supposed to be good in wet conditions

Me had a nightmare with metzeler when riding the tdm. Be it tourance or Z4.

 

Me not being a wet blanket but i feel Metzeler tyres easily puncture.

Ask AJ, he knows the story since the first time i got the tdm with metzeler tyres. :cry:

Well....actually,i suffered the same fate too on my TOurance....i think the rubber still got half more life to go,but i got to change a new one becoz on one durian and waterfall road trip,I suffered 3 puncture with nails in 1 day.

 

After that,i switched to Michelin Anakee....it was cheaper,good on all terrain,road it even on softy sand at TM,and hardpacked on Endau,those video you saw,all on the Anakee....

Used it till done,no puncture at all.

hahaha you're right. i didn't know it was you man, i was just pointing you out to monica that thats the bike i might get when i get my class2; it was only when you cornered and I saw your face then i got all excited wanted to wave but you guys ah tdm too fast already...by the time i raise my hand you're like 50m down the road... but yea nice to meet cha at my neighbourhood!

dunno why, bad batch maybe? i ran with tourance on my bmw gs many years..no issue. i did hear the z4 have a lot of complaints...but then i read about the z6 and it's a different tire completely..will report back in a few thousand km's see how it goes

i'm planning one night trip with wify to port dickson on national day. just rest and relax one...

Sorry dudes...slight change of plans. In my ang moh ignorance I was unaware that it is fasting month for our muslim friends. Therefore have made some change in timing so can accomodate :)

 

Hey Bro's and Sisters....

It's birthday time again...but this time is Baby Christopher's 1 year Bday.

 

So obviously you all invited, but it not gonna be at my house, so need to know numbers so can organise catering.

 

This is the venue:

Date: 15 August (Sunday)

Time:

5:00pm --> Hanging out and swimming, if weather permits - for those who would like to and fun decorating the function room! :)

 

6:00pm - 8:00pm --> dinner

 

7:00pm --> cake cutting

 

Function Room is located at the Clubhouse on the first floor (up the stairs) opposite management office. Guards will direct visitors to visitors parking lots on entering the boomed entrance. Guests can just tell guards that they are going to the function room birthday party. I will have advised them of this beforehand.

Also, there is pool as well if y'all like or let your little one's have some water fun also.

You are welcome to come earlier to enjoy the facilities, but we only have use of the function room from 4:30pm.

 

Hope to see you all there, will be great as most of you have known him since he was born.

port dickson... em, nothing much compared to VTRFirestorm's favorite Melaka.

not so clean beach, nothing much to see in town.

 

we are going just for nice hotel.

i'd prefer eastern coastal side, mersing, kuantan or cherating, nice winding roads, clean beach, budget friendly hotels..

 

try a little further from kota tinggi up to mersing... it's good road for day ride.

 

i remember our TDM ride last time.. with Tom Kulus.. and Nikole Kidwoman.
