Hi all :)

i have some inquiry about TDM:- :cheeky:

1.Brand new TDM still available?

2.Suitable for daily bike and touring? (i not intend keep 2 bike:dot:)

3.How about the FC?

4.The speed at 6000RPM at top gear?

Thanks for the reply :)

Item 2: can but depends what you been riding..TDM not quite sports bike

Item 3: f/c on weekend trip running close to 22km/l with no effort toward efficient riding

Item 4: make sure your helmet strap secure! :shades:

btw, i'm newbie with TDM, just ran up to Cherating on Sunday with pillion on board...bike all factory settings still...nice for touring only needs a taller wind screen. seems like good tourer and also ok around town.

I think the new TDMers should hang out together or exchange contact...becoz it's better to listen to a new TDM owner point of views on how's the bike performance and stuffs rather than the older generation TDMers becoz for us we swear that the TDM900 is the best deal anyone could get...

sometimes,different people have different opinions....

oh gosh...I miss riding....east coast malaysia riding is fantastic place to ride...but recently the weather is crazy.

Good idea! but also I'm sure we would like to meet the new TDM-ers. Should organise kopi on Friday night?

Usual place? Lavender FC? Then those who want can go pump also...

What you all say? About time don't you think?

Hey guyz, I was at SGH today(tuesday) around 3pm and saw 2 TDMs passing by me at 5min interval..

1st was a silver TDM wif LV exhaust pipes.

2nd was a FV plate yellow TDM wif Givi side panniers.

Just wondering was it any one of you here???

Yes sir, jus now did some remedial training, here the findings...

Wear slippers is nearly impossible as stepping on the main stand as pivoting, hurts like hell. No matter how hard I pull, push, the little cow just wouldn't move.

Change to a solid base shoe, this time mission accomplish. Some effort involved, I'll believe with more practice will perfect the skill.

Hi Heaven51,

Currently I'm using a SWMotech mainstand. When i 1st got my bike, lifting the bike up on the mainstand was a nightmare. The bike slanted alot to the right when i'm balancing the bike on both stems of the mainstand just before lifting the bike up. I resorted to using the sidestand alot.

I then realised that both the stems were actually cracked!! Anyway I welded the mainstand & installed it back on my bike. After a'lil bit of adjustments (prying left & right etc) now I find that its very easy to lift up the bike.

Dun really even need arm strength..... Body weight is usually enuf.

(or maybe thats b'cos i'm fat) hahaha

I'm actually also interested to have both headlites light up instead of the usual 1 side only. Was told by the mechanic that i'll actually have to mod/replace the current H7 bulb holder to the H4 dual filament bulb holder. But I havent done the mod yet.... :(

How did you do the mod for your FZ6?

Hi Bro ! I'm only a few days old rider... The posture is super upright, as if your mommy as you to seat straight when you're little...

Hi Bro, I'm working in SGH and on Yellow... But unlikely you can see my bike cos most of the time its undercover...

And parking in SGH is a nightmare for big bike especially those with side panniers...

Don't need to change the bulb holder or what not...

The ang mo quite PRO, he studied the FZ6 ciruit and then did the MOD...

He utilized an unsed slot from the main power socket and tap it to the headlight...

I did the mod myself too, following the instruction from here...

Wondering can it be done to our TDM too ???

Maybe I ask the Ang Mo, whether he willing to help, althought now not riding a FZ anymore but still Yamaha...

Wow, I must check mine too. But my bike doesn't slant, its just can't get over the lifting/pivot point, need HERCULE effort...

I'm not light either, even I've use all my MILK strength, just simply can't lift it up... As if you're going to lift up the whole bike inorder to put it on main stand...
