Good point, Raptor. Open to everyone. Even if you don't have an Ohlins on your bike, you will always be a potential customer

Agree with Doc Dol on this.

Good suspension set up = stability in acceleration, braking and corners = faster corner speeds = faster lap times.

Fast lap times are not made up on the straights.. its in the corners. PG has 2 decent straights.... but 12 corners.

An improvement of 0.25 sec per corner due to increased corner speeds = an improvement of 3 secs per lap!!!!

Its these seemingly insignificant looking small bits that will matter over the 10 laps or so in determining whether you are a particapant or winner of that race.

  • 3 weeks later...

These customer appreciation days and tracktime has had me thinking more and being more particular about my suspension setup.

I certainly enjoyed the tracktime today; it really serves a purpose to test out my new settings. My bike's cornering abilities have improved and hopefully confidence will come next ;)

And also, thanks to the staff, the mechs that came today, and the foreign Ohlins specialists too. They were more than helpful. Not many common people like us all today have easy access to such skilled suspension mechanics other than those at the racing level worldwide, so today was certainly a special day.
