Reason for going there is to visit my frend who lives there. Hes riding a Hyusong Comet 250 which unfortunately i didnt take photos of it. This is just a Brief story of my journey. some of them with pics, some without.

 

13 Feb - Morning, embarked on the journey at 7am. travelled non stop for 200km. stopped for petrol n rest for 15 min along Endau, Pahang. (7 litres used)

continued till i reach northen part of kuantan which is about 130+km for petrol top up n rest for 15min. (5 litres used)

Prayed my noon n afternoon prayer (Jamak) at their local mosque.

I then continued my journey until i reach Rusila. My bike broke down over there. parked at a nearby mosque n called my frend. luckily, hes nearby.

We slowly rode to his prefered workshop n see wats d prob wif my bike.

the mech said dat my gearbox bearing is wrecked due to wear n tear. dats wat u get for not doing a proper servicing for after 70000km of travel.

my bike can still move, the only gears left working is 1, 3 n 4. so we slowly went to my frends place.

on the same nite, i bot a return ticket to singapore by bus. after dat, spend d nite at his place.

14 Feb - After breakfast, he brought me to a place where theres a drag race event. spend d time till noon.

Around 2pm, we went to fetch his wife whos working at a hospital. after that we went to her frends place for a small feast.

in the afternoon he drove me n his wife around d area for a small tour. Ive got to admit, Terengganu is a very uniqe place.

later dat nite, me n him went to see his fellow Hyosung riders. we spend d nite chatting n get to know each other until midnight.

sooo... dat night around 8pm, i said my farewells to his wife n parents and hope to see them again. he send me to the bus station. We exchange thnxs n farewells. after dat, i got on d bus.

16 Feb - reached home around 8am. no, the story didnt end there.............

 

cut the story short, i went to jb on d 20 Feb to fetch my bike n bring it home. i had another friend in Jb which my bike he took cared of. heS also a Hyosung rider. wana know how i got my bike back? ask me in person. hehehee.

theres a company in Malaysia called Felda Courier dat deals with nationwide towing service. service charge to tow from k. trengganu to pasir gudang is rm200. unfortunately, they dun tow to singapore, to cut d story short, i decided to let my bike towed to a frends address in jb. on 20 Feb, i went there n collect my bike. my bike can still move, so i slowly rode back to sg n plan d next move.

 

sell my bike? if im too desperate, den i'll sell. however,if God Wills, i wont. no freaking way. it will cost more on repairs though. but no, i wont sell.

i will tour with dis bike until i change my mind.

actually for a bike to last through so many destination... the small repair fees is worth nothing already... But a suggestion for UM to sponsor SC Gaban repair fees as their overseas ambassador seems to be the most right moves.... Gaban u really shows the world wat a true pulsar can achieve....

u wana go kl through trunk road? u sure or not? where u start from?

if u ride around 80-90km/h, ns highway gd enough as long as u stick to rd shoulder. just be cautious of loris n buses due to wind pressure. by trunk rd, im not sure. try going via west coast road, through batu pahat, muar. den exit ayer keroh or seremban highway. the highway there is split in2 3 lanes. i myself never tought of going kl by trunk road. its gona be long trip by trunk rd. gd luck bro.

80-90km/h is no prob for seasoned 2b bikers whod travel up north often. just need to endure ur body. every 70-100km stop n rest. if u r up for it, every 130-150km stop n rest.

bro, u wana go wif me? but now my bike is being overhauled. after overhaul den. u ride cbf 150? i went to gunung ledang n melaka early last year with a group of cbr 150 riders. dats d start of my first tour in malaysia wif them. n dey ride along rd shoulder on ns highway like breeze. only thing is yeah, 80-90km/h.

every 60-70km ders an R&R to stop n pump ur oil. so dun wurry. u wana go by trunk road n all d way up? start from going through pontian. ders d start point.

ya, its still usable. finished overhaul. just need 2 do a proper running in dis month. d mech did a gd job. took 5 days to overhaul. but its worth it.

use 15w-40 oil mineral base or semi synthetic only

 

change every 2000km

 

don't delay

 

bike engine enemy is oxidation of engine oil

 

u may have saved ur SGD 827 if u had changed engine oil oftenly

 

you cannot follow Indian manual cause there top spped normally is 100km/h

 

but u have long distance travelled so better chamge oil every 1800km or maximum 2000km

 

it does not matter even it is semi-synthetic which can last very long

 

up to u
