Not recommedning anything but I can tell you I'm loading up on ST Engineering. so far bot 15,000 shrs. Looking to acuumulate up to 20,000 shrs

Instinct comes with experience in the market.

It is part of the whole package especially when you are a short term trader type.

 

I look more upon proper statistical data, news, physical market trends and some technical price charts before making my decision. i also split my portfolio into short term trades and long term positions. short term trades i look to hold up to 3-6 months. long term i can hold a couple of years or even longer.

i do not want to give people the wrong idea that it is so easy to make money from the market.

 

many "gurus" like to give seminars and show people how easy it is to make money. IF ONLY!

 

the only sure way to win, as I always tell people, is that you are able to lose. if not dont try.

 

You also need a fairly big base so that you can take hits and still fight on.

total 18,000 shrs already.

maybe will accumulate up to 25,000

 

KREIt is also very well priced at current levels.

sometimes a few weeks earn nothing.

sometimes sitting on losses also.

Singtel is OK, blue chip , long term no problem.

as long as you believe in the future of Singapore and Singtel's business model, infrastructure stocks like this are good investments.

 

currently dont have this stock in my portfolio yet becos i think it can be cheaper in the short run. might consider if it comes off nearer to $3.40

People usually pay money for such info.

you can also find them in certain websites, like SGX or from Bloomberg, Reuters etc...

 

Info dont mean anything unless you can decipher them.

After deciphering them also means nothing unless the general bulk of the market deciphers the same way as you.

that also doesnt matter unless you put your money where your mouth quicker than others.

Hmmm I was looking at firms like NOL mercator and rickmers that benefitted from the BDI surge.. Think there's more potential upside ?
