Putting $millions in the bank is the safest but not the most wise thing to do. Make yr money work harder for u... Invest it!

The more you work, the more money you have.

The more money you have, the more you spend.

The more you spend, the less money you have.

The less money you have, the more you work.

Well, as the same as Throttle, if you interested, I may also assist in your investment portfolio.

You can either PM me and I will arrange for you to come to my office where we can discuss more in detail.

By the way, be honest with us if you are really interested. Feel free to compare my office's investment strategies with Throttle's investment strategies.

Don't be a crapper as mentioned.

No pun intended.

Yes I'm super tempted to buy a second hand 996. But I think i will wait for my bonus first. i got many bills to pay and a Porsche is definitely not my top priority.

Well, I am just a hardworking lad trying to build up my AUM. Ha ha, no doubt I am still learning from sifus like you in the industry.

Yeah, xiaowang's my nick too, usually called by my Chinese friends.

Yup, we do share a lot in common; bikes, name, same industry, however our finances are way apart. Though I am working to close the gap asap.

Just bought my first apt in District................................8. Haha, not a big deal indeed but I am grateful and delighted with it. I must work harder and harder....

Let me give you some hints, it's near a place full of sporting history and was written about in the newspaper some weeks ago.

On the outside main road lies the scariest stretch on any weekend. Deep inside lies a quiet neighbourhood facing the lush green surrounded by our vibrant and bright city.

Oh yes, it's near to the hospital which you probably was born in. Can you guess it now?

There are diffn investment strategies by different banks nonetheless. Feel free to explore your risk appetite.

Hehe... Apologies for the wanton ranting but you probably know that chances of a millionaire member in SBF is not high...

If you're talking about other currencies (Korean Won) or in other nominations (cents) or other entities (little tadpoles) then I have... :p

Anyway, if anyone can share some information or provide guidance for those interested in growing their wealth it would be most helpful.

actually , i recall an earlier thread regarding investing and making money. but very very very frankly speaking (and i know it may offend some people) if the amount is too little, it may not really be worth all the effort.

If you dont have much money (less than $100k investible)

My formula is this (I didnt say it's guaranteed):- stack up on stocks which have good value and prospects, as much as you can over the years. In other words keep your long term savings in stocks.

Dont punt, dont margin trade, dont short sell. just go long on a few solid ones in a series of tranches over the years. You'll work out just fine. Just be down to earth and understand that anything which can make you a very rich man overnite can turn you into a bankrupt just as quickly.

few days back, came across this article, which reported that if someone invested $10k worth of raffles edu stocks in 2002. now, in 2006, after 4yrs, the returns are 11,000%. meaning over 4 yrs, ur paper profit will turn u into a millionaire.

but the prob is sniffin out "THE ONE".

and hw many pple have the discipline to hold it for 4yrs?

The example you quoted is as good as looking at the 4D results and stating that betting on the winning numbers will gain u some incredible gain. In reality, stocks that do grow so quickly are usually highly volatile and/or rare.

Read Throttle's advice

Before thinking about 'investments', better be sure the seed money is expendable to begin with.
