Still thinking 70-200 L IS 2.8 or 4... muahahah 700 plus for NON IS.. hmmm

$700+ only? I thought it will be more than 2k... I recently tried my friend's 50mm f/1.4. The images are really tack sharp!

2nd hand bro.. without IS and with USM only.. the cheapest L lens series i can afford..

But think about it that lens is quite heavy and stable.. IS is needed for nite shot.. dont think i be using that nite time

Still thinking 55-250 or 70-200 muahahahaha

maybe i should go for prime lens instead.

50mm 1.4 u call sharp.. u try 1.8... u feel like selling off ur bike!!

Nice panning shots! Where did you take these? Did you use a tripod?

you should turn off IS when doing panning. in fact, IS should be off when mounted on tripod too

Err actually i say the Lens didnt have any IS on it.. not a prime lens as well..

i know lah, I mean IS is not required for panning. however, the newer IS version supports 2 mode of IS, I think mode 2 is to support horizontal panning

anyway, photographer usually prefer to work alone :)

that a bit sad lah photographer like to work alone..working in pairs would be good. some input from each other.. well what to do...

paiseh ... maybe it's just me lah. even when travel in pair, I find that most will end up splitting at location, only meet once photographing tasks are completed.

as long as it got road

thanks for sharing ... I find that white objects are tricky as most end up burnout if i don't apply any Exposure compensation (Ev). I guess the day must be HOT! May I know if u make any Ev adjustment for your photos above? thks!

another kampong road ~ gotta admit the sky / clouds weren't pretty that day :sian:

Hi starr

hmmm ... which part I cheat?

actually i will always do some basic post-process adjustment e.g level, sharpen

the framing just playing around and added a kind of softening effect.

this is somewhere in kota tinggi, the road was steeper than it appear on photo actually

anyway, thanks wouldn't dare to say this photo is good lah. afterall, it's just taken with a dumb super compact camera. but i do have fun playing around :)
