any comment on canon 500d via nikon d90

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Who is gonna complete my world?

http://www.digitalreview.ca/content/Nikon-D5000-D90-Compared-to-Canon-Rebel-T1i-500D.shtml

initially i was choosing between d5000 and d90.. not so much of 500d but i still compared a bit

some reasons why i bought d90 is because

- the overall handling/weight

- i love the top lcd display and two command dials

- the kit lens is sufficient for me for the time being 18-105mm..

cheers :)

you should go down to any camera shop to hold the cam and see if it fits you hand and can you get used to the weight and stuff.

good luck!

i was on blulb mode. long speed? doesn't that make the shot more exposed?

oh is it?? hahahah i cant recalled is the timing to go faster or slower.. hahaha

bulb mode is the longest shutter speed.. it is more than 30 sec.

F1.4 is the size of aperture... at 1.4 is the biggest size.

F32 or 22 is probably the smallest aperture size.

When i did the light painting

At F16 and bulb mode.. .The backround can be seen clearly.

at F32 or 22 the Background cant be seen only the lite painting

or maybe i got it mixed up...hahahaha

well just try it.. no harm trying both method rite. hahaha

Interesting shot. What event was it?

http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/95/holdinghands.th.png

Shot during my cousin's wedding a few months back.

40mm, 1/250s at f/4.0.

how was the firework at ION?

For fireworks, you have to predict how long the fireworks is going to come out. Say, if it is a big one, a short 1~3.2s exposure, at f8-16 should do. The best is to use bulb mode, as suggested with a cable release. When the fireworks are about its peak before it disappears, release the shutter. Use of ISO 100 is highly recommanded, unless you are very far away or lack of a telephoto lens.
