the perfect car to go up genting.. leave all other cars behind smelling smoke.

its very small inside. I tried once. And the rear passenger space is even worse. But i think the engine is tough and strong enough.

Why not try the Kenari? I think its better value.

Engine is quite reliable, top speed tried before is 150km/hr.

Cabin space more suitable for small to medium size people.

Good to get the manual type at least can control the power needed to go up slope.

The torque to move the car is quite good maybe cause is 3 cylinder engine, I got no problem driving with full load of 5 adults

I drove for about a year OPC (new car) covering mileage abt 20k and nothing ever breakdown.

Had drove to genting and Ipoh for holiday.

Local fuel consumption is ard 17-19km/L for 50% highway and 50% urban traffic

NOTE: The engine vibration is quite bad due to the 3 cylinder engine

1st gear can be hard to engage at times if 'angle' is wrong

Road noise is quite high cause its a budget car

Luggage space can only fit in a baby pram for my case

Hope all these comments can help you.

get a kenari....more roomy...

servicing and parts are easy to find just over the bridge.

do consider a 2nd hand,might be cheaper.

cheap to run around.

some say is a tin,but is still a car with roof where you can bring your family out.aircon and not wet during rain

my last car was a picanto

pricing was abt the same as kelisa/gets1.1

picanto bigger a bit ,fc abt 16/l manual using ron 92

once i buy picanto for abt 2 mth than kenari is here.........so sad

yeah, i drove the kenari for two days. Engine is strong, interior is surprisingly roomy. Though the dashboard looked like a old taxi and the gear handle is very ugly.

Its really a no frills car, get you to point a to b. I liked it very much and was about to buy it but came across a chevrolet and choose the latter because of its safety and its looks.

the exhaust pipe damn small... dunno will lead to what probs.

But then again, parts are cheap and repair is cheap just across e border

My personal opinion & experience.

Kelisa -

Good: Reliable engine, easy and cheap to source for parts

Bad: Noisy, interior is very cheap-looking,

It is also more roomy than it looks.

Like someone mentioned, really a no frills Pt A, Pt B vehicle.

If you reeeeally dun mind the looks and thinks you can live with this car for the next 4,5 years, yes by all means make the purchase. But do think carefully. Singaporeans usually want to go for something better within a year or 2. If this applies to you, then I think it makes more sense to put in another 10-20 k more and get a car that is better looking with better performance.

1 set tyres how much and where u all always go service.

A set of 4 tyres is much cheaper than a set of 2 tyres for motorcycle. The cost of one tyre for big bike is equivalent to 4 tyres of car.

Servicing also very cheaper than motorcycle i.e. 4 litre syn oil, oil filter, 4 spark plugs can last 10,000km. Now market used small car is reasonable affordable :)

Like I said, I thought they were already posted but...

So now I get a BS warning for trying to be nice. Wonder why I even bother sometimes...

So we have a hard to find thread in movies, what about 1 for music?
