Anyway, do join them, the friendly falcon-ers, for kopi session @ LFC to find out more about the Falcon. :)

guys i just bought a hayabusa but still have not collect

question from me,

- how much is one full tank of petrol cost?

- how many km can it go for full tank?

Don't mean to be rude, but the answers to both your questions very very subjective...

Depends on whether you (if you pump at Shell Stations) pump 92, 95, 98 or V-power... Also depends on your riding style, full-ball all the way or riding at 90-km all the way, whether you riding on NSH or on ECP, PIE, etc...

For an average figure, guess it's best that you join the falcon-ers for kopi and find out more... :)

Stay tuned for the next kopi session... :)

You know... I have the answer to your fuel consumption questions if you can give me the answer as to how come some people can survive on a $900 monthly salary while some people claim that $10000 a month is not enough.

Just like you said that you're not trying to be rude, you must understand that we are not God and can give you an accurate answer based on the very little information you provided.

What I can tell you is this, Shell 98 petrol cost about 1.80 per litre and your bike has a tank capacity of 21 litres.

It can last you at least 200km. You like the answer?

bro may have saw u once somewhere but quite u also "rude". haha welcome to the club!

full tank how much does it cost. - assume now is abt S$1.9 * 21(litre) = $39.90

how many KM... u will nv be compare to ur s4... if u are able to get 17km/L u do the math. it is all about your right wrist...

when i go "full" blast i am getting abt 11-12km/L

what the..... ?

I think the best answer is full tank is 21L & 1km per litre!! :faint:

IMO,I think fuel consumption for BIG bikes is not really the main concern unless it really goes to 5km/L for normal riding! :giddy:

Btw,u bought it already...

I thought a thought. But the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I thought. If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much.

Just for your info if you are interested..

for my busa (still running-in), so far based on 18L of petrol (minus 3L for reserve).. best mileage=340km (Msia riding) , worst mileage=240km (Spore riding)

Bottomline, if you want good mileage, DON'T RIDE IN SPORE~!!!

Okie, sorry, dun mean to be rude.. just kidding... chill okie :thumb:

Anyway, a general question to all who've been there done that.... Is it possible to go pass 6k RPM on 6th gear? Tried to do that a few time yesterday but the moment it hit 5.5k RPM on 6th gear, my engine note became extemely rough (hope that's the right way to describe it) and the needly refuse to move over 6k RPM. Speed was 160kph. I never full throttle cuz still running-in....

Is it a rider problem (myself) or is it not possible to go pass 6k RPM on 6th gear?

Did you feel the same thing at other gears or only at the 6th gear? Sometimes, I can feel a different engine note when I'm gradually opening up the throttle. I think it could be the ram air coming in. I'm not sure though, I may be wrong.

That is known as a flat spot and 6th gear is for cruising ....
