anyone ever tried using the Sportec M3 on their Falcon? :D

I do. I found them far better than Michelin 2CT. Michelin softer but not suitable for Hayabusa, a bit unstable at high speeds (close to 300km/hr). I'm now using Sportec M3, very nice tyres and very stable at high speeds.

Cheers

Another reason why I chose not to hit the tracks on the busa was because after trying it out on Sepang and PG once each, I realised that the bike is heavy! I go too fast and if I were to *touch wood* lose control...

The bike can corner though, just that the rider can't.

Its not as heavy as u think lah...

It is heavy when you know there are bikes out there with very similiar power outputs thats 20-30kg lighter. The ease with the lighter bike to flick... woohoo!

Another reason is that the rider buay gan... dare not corner too low on the busa.

Thats right, have tried a few different bikes at the tracks before so I know there are much better bikes to play with on PG than our Busa. Dun get me wrong, the bike can be fun on PG. But its just that I've tried something else thats better so I'm not so keen to go for the second best. I give you an analogy, after you have had s_e-X, would you still like to mast-ur-bate as much as before?

ESPECIALLY the BMW! Alot of people sensitive to this but the Busa is not designed to be out on the tracks challenging other bikes with the same HP but with far shorter wheelbase and lesser weight. But then again, I stress that rider also plays a big part. The fastest I ever did on an RS250 way way back was a miserable 2min15secs, while our friend who is new to PG managed a surprising timing of 2min9secs! I got proof one! :thumb:

The other track in Sepang is MUCH MUCH better in my opinion when I'm on the Busa. The straights were long and shiok while the corners are quite forgiving except for one off camber left hander. Is it turn 9?

Hayabusa is NOT built for the circuit. The bike can not corner at same speeds as an R1 or GSXR could, is too heavy. This bike is actualy built to "fly low". A few times my bike's foot rest has scratched the road but it wasn't fast corners either. You can not have both worlds, everyone has to choose between speed and circuit. I've chosen the first.

You have chosen wisely by not pushing yr bike too hard on the corners. I remember on one of my trips to Malaysia, met a GSXR (Malaysian register) somewhere after Kuantan. It could not catch up with me on the straight line but on the corners the guy was overtaking me so easily.

Maybe busa is not meant for track and cant keep up with the slimmer/lighter on corners, but I remember myself enjoying the session :thumb:

Im pretty sure there are others around who also like going down. Like the video we see here

check clutch plates, tyre pressure and riding style?

There's no replacement for displacement except for a blower
