what the best price i can get for scootoiler...only motorworld do it

?

 

i got mine almost two years back for about $165 with installation. but i think prices have risen already. best to check with them. not advised to install your Scottoiler with them as their mechanics are not very good. :thumb:

wah for that price can get brembo clutch master pump..

 

ya true. for me i'll opt for the brembo master pump instead of switching to cable clutch system. although cable clutch has better feel, i'm not a professional racer leh. hee hee. i just want shiok shiok and less stress when using my clutch. :cheeky:

look for a mechanic you trust and just buy the Scottoiler from Motoworld then get it installed by your mechanic. everybody has their own preference so mine may not be yours. :thumb:

on the contrary.. i would rather use the money the change to cable.. it has better feel when moving off using half clutch as you have total control over the biting point...

 

for cable system, the feel of the clutch engagement is more direct than hydraulic which gives a "muffled" feel...

 

but.. to each his own.. :cool:

this cover is totally heat resistant. you can cover your bike straight after you park. it has locking loops too. great looks. but careful as it attracts alot of attention.

Scottoiler can be bought n fixed from motorworld(ubi) / HKL $160, depending how well u know people there.

 

My advise is,

 

If u love tidy, neat and clean. Lub the drive chain yaself.

 

If u dont mind messy and lazy to lub ur chain all the time, get a scottoiler.

i totally agree with u on this.. been looking for cable clutch conversion kit for my bike. never thot its possible. but quite pricy don't u think... good info anyway, will keep in mind:thumb:

well, the scottoiler is quite a good equipment for effortlessly maintaining your chain. I've been using it on my busa since day 1. My chain need no adjustment since... it was last changed out after 2.5years of hard riding... not that there's any slack or anything... juz for a peace of mind.. :cheeky:

 

also the flinging of the chain lube is not really an issue if you do not turn up the scottoiler to high... my rims have more brake dust on them than chain lube :angel:

considering that the brembo clutch master cylinder also cost somewhere in the same ballpark.. i guess if you want to consider an upgrade to the clutch, this would be very worth it.. :smile:
