Mine's not messy but it does leave a thick layer of grease which is really tough to clean off... I usually use kerosene... no other cleaning detergent seems to work... :p

Do not use any kerosene or cleaning detergent, you will spoil yr rim's paint. Use polish wax, it does wonders and you have sparking clean and shine rims. Make sure of coure you wash yr rims before wax them.

Cheers

Both are limited to 300km/hr

K8 better performance though but not that noticable on day to day use. If you are comcerned about FC then I suggest you to look into 2A class as Busas are not FC friendly.

Wah you guys simply gotta remind me... haha... damn those potholes...

What i meant was using kerosene to clean off the grease and dirt... i tried to use those household detergent but it doesnt work well. I do use the Maxima Spray n Shine after washing. It will make the next wash easier as the Maxima spray act as a protective layer.. :)

Agree. If FC is the MAIN concern then Busa is the wrong bike to have in the list. But if you wanna know the FC for general knowledge... Gen1 busa FC is about 17km/L city riding... (based on my bike)

friedfishz, have u tried GT85? It works on my bikes rims.

Is GT85 for cleaning/washing/ removing grease for the rims? I already have something to wax the rims... I just need something effective to remove those irritating grims... :)

I wash my rims with Autoglym Shampoo, then I use Autoglym Super Resin Polish that takes away any grease and oil. Lastly once every 2 months after polish I use Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection.

I never used kerosene or detergent.
