No probs bro! Had the first set mounted on my bike liao. U can check it out first. Anyway, once the batch is done, I'll be interchanging with the new ones cos of the corrosion treatment done as my current set does not went thru tat. The final product will definitely look much better with the treatment and buffering. :thumb:

the final profile is cfm look better. saw the sample myself.. :thumb:

There's an extension coupling rod included in the whole assembly package. No major modifications required except for 2 very minor ones which will be spell out in the installation instructions provided. :thumb:

Will most probably be at Lavender Food Court tis coming friday for kopi before heading down for the monthly ride. U can catch me at either location encik.

On the other hand, wanna check if anyone's keen to install a clutch cover support? It's supposed to give maximum support to the clutch slave cylinder cover.

If you were to observe closely, the thin cover casting can crack when heavier clutch springs are installed but wait....!!! Mine cracked on stock springs too and the mileage was only 30000km plus on a K6!!! My mechanic was even more shocked to notice that and tis is definitely his first case on a Busa!!! Changed a new casing which cost over a hundred bucks locally!!!

Therefore I would strongly encourage the installation of a support bracket. It actually helps to eliminate the flex that cracks the cover. It is also strong enough for heavier duty clutch springs if you intend to install in the future.

u mean tis?

Same purpose as per what you've shown in the pic but far much better design.

Both are limited to 300km/hr

K8 better performance though but not that noticable on day to day use. If you are comcerned about FC then I suggest you to look into 2A class as Busas are not FC friendly.

thanks for the answer. i was asking for general knowledge. If FC was my concern, i wouldn't even think of owning a bike, with the high cost of petrol nowadays. my current bike's FC not that generous either. thks again..

Wah, I have friends who are thinking of getting back to riding after driving for years and you're going the other way round? Haha... one thing for sure is that the Busa has a batter fuel consumption than many cars on the roads... much better performance then those cars too... RX8, WRX, Evos just to name a few... hell... it has better FC than a Matrix, Jazz/Fit!

Whats your ride now?

my avatar pic is my current ride. an 02 Fazer 1k. serves me well. but FC getting from bad to worst. use to be able to reach ayer keroh before hitting reserve. now, no way.but FC's not my major concern. considering options for my next ride. haf always admired the beast(busa).
