Double-UZ - I got mine at KS Motor situated opposite Regina. Price was S$135 after bargaining w/o installation.

as for installation, u can either DIY (free) or pay someone to do it for u (mine was S$20)

Friedfishz - hahahahaha :cheeky: thr's really a technique to lifting ur bike onto the mainstand. U dun nid to have great strength to do so..

having a mainstand can be quite useful..

hi,

may i know for the mainstand will it hit the mid pipe?

do you have a pic where the maintain is at rest/ side stand mode.

thanks

Thanks for your suggestion..

M3...how does the grip?dry and wet?cornering wise?

I'm still on stock tyres...now 18000+ already..Thread finishing...surveying first before I change...

Comparing M3 and 2CT,

Both dual compound,

2ct compound is softer, better grip at cornering, rode for 14,000 km for all sorta condition.

Grip at track is good for newbie :D

M3 slightly harder, can feel rear a little shakey, cornering at high speed still stable, wet road ok, tested and proven during the trip up and down thailand. Mileage duuno yet.

any fellow Falcons here who has side boxes installed for your Busa? i'm looking into the prospect of installing side boxes for touring purposes. probably i can get some help here. i wish to know the following:

1) brand of the boxes

2) capacity of the boxes

3) methods of fitting the boxes

4) cost

5) stability during riding

I appreciate if fellow riders can assist. :thumb:

The Rack I got is Sw motech, same as andrew. Box, get from who ever u want, sw motec provide a few brands box's adapter.

Thanx for the info :thumb:

you got the rack from biketech21? is it easy to fix and need to remove signal light? Cuz i see tish's blog and seems like they had a hard time getting it up...

okie

got chance must take a look at how you all mount it... :)

The only hard part is removing the rear to remove signal light and remount on the rear bracket mounting, but dont want also can.

in the recent bike asia, i got myself sw motec and h&b, gift from my gf :) lovely gf too. hehe

1) brand of the boxes - H&B

2) capacity of the boxes - junior flash, 40L. there is 30L but cant fit full face.

3) methods of fitting the boxes - by SW motec, removal rack in abt 10min.

4) cost - $1013 rack and box.

5) stability during riding - nt yet try but shld be ok. but take note that it's width is abt the car thus dun expect to squeeze traffic like no other business.

currently tish and akg got the setup. we 3 always threesome thus i have join them.

got another frd after8 also got his rear box. rack is abt $200 box depends on ur need. his is E52.

You know what? I have exactly the same plan~! haha...

you can check out tish's side box. His rack is from sw motech.. box i not sure... I'm considering HB 30L :)

ya i have SMS him and pending his reply. approached AKG in the first place and he referred me to his beloved buddy Tish. initially, i intended to get the Corbin's Beetle bags. however, the capacity seems a little too small.

Sorry my love, I was in mysia having a short break at one of the petrol station when u sms me ur love messages.

My racks are Sw Motech and they can be ordered from Biketech21. However I got my box separately. U really sure u dont mind changing the looks of the slick aerodynamic blink blink of ur busa?

For me, looks are not everything, however I would still love to travel at high speed while putting up the side boxes, so I choose the slimmest and cheapest box from LAB

It has no problem squeezing in b/w cars depending on ur ballz. I have cleared my meter twice with it and still firmly attached with both fully occupied. However u might encounter slight shaky backside from 220km/hr onwards depending on the weight and wind. But even with the slight shaky, I can pump to 260-280 no prob.

You may have to decide on purpose and the way u want to ride before choosing the correct box.

thank you so much for the comprehensive details. Just what i needed! i dun mind the looks of the boxes. because i'll only put it on when going touring. so it will not be an issue. to me, when going touring, it is more about practicality and purpose. if i needed to blast, then i'll just remove the whole assembly! my only concern is that my exhaust system ain't the stock ones. so not sure if the boxes will still fit nicely like yours. if able, i wish to have a up close and personal look on your bike with the boxes. can i? :pity: by the way, i also wish to know that what capacity are your boxes? :thumb:

Hi guys...Thanks for all the info...after thinking for about half an hour to 45min at the bikeshop yesterday..I choose Pilot Sport :cheeky:

I thought a thought. But the thought I thought wasn't the thought I thought I thought. If the thought I thought I thought had been the thought I thought, I wouldn't have thought so much.

bt015 is quite good have good grip and surprising was good in the wet i was going 160-180 under rain conditions and i find the grip was still good. bt usually have poor wet grip.

however i prefer m3 becos the cornering grip is much better compared to 015.. hope tis helps
