hey seriously i think it looks perfectly okie. still look nice and cool

i guess busa is a good bike and flexible enough to do a wide range of activities depending on how we configure our bikes

This is like having the best of both world... speed, power, stability and storage space!

Tish, just to clarify..

SW motech rack = $500++

Givi 21L boxes = $ ???

And do we need to purchase a separate adapter to fix the givi to the sw motech?

I think he meant $500++ for everything including the racks.

u're getting one for urself as well?

You mean the Corbin Beetle Boxes? They were my very first intention to get when I bought the Busa 2 years ago until I found out how much they actually cost. For now I'll settle for the bags. Maybe going to the States next year for my honeymoon  so I'll check out their outlet in the west side and see how much they cost straight off the shelves. Who knows, I'll be back home with a pair of brand new, shiny, smooth Corbin Beetle Boxes :cheeky: .

Yap, minus and plus. U cant have the best of everything, u install a certain part, u lose something u gain something. There is always a balance. Thats y I got the rack that are quick release, needless spend time installing n removing. :D

Hahaha!! Nothing wrong with the way your bike looks, man :cheeky: . The messier the better for touring looks. It adds more character to the ride. I'm intending the get the bags for touring purposes, and perhaps when my mum asks me to get those bulky groceries :p . Haha... other than those, the sleek ol' aerodynami-o-googly for me.

any idea how much the bag cost? and where to get?

hey FF, i went down to Biketech earlier and spoke to the boss. he quoted me $400 just for the racks. there are plenty of options available for the boxes. you can get H&B or Trax which looks really cool. or you can do it the simple way like Tish and still not making the bike look too bulky. prices for the boxes ranges depending on models, capacity or brands. ordered mine already.

since FF not getting it now so i went ahead with the order already. no more cheap price that was offered at the Bike Asia. Biketech told me that time the manufacturer gave a huge promotion just for that period only. so now back to normal price. checked out a box by the brand Trax. looks rather neat and its aluminium. found it rather nice.

guys

i am not sure if there would interest anyone.

I got a quote from my frd with sporting.

Ohlin front fork servicing for stock busa fork

price: $420 include

1. ohlin spring, with spring rate of 0.9 (upgrade from the stock spring rate of 0.85, does not have a higher spring rate)

2. both seal

3. ohlin oil (for touring mode recommend wt 10 oil)

4. include workmanship and setting.

for those on gixxer fork, same price but the spring we will get a higher one from 0.95 to higher spring rate.

Ohlin suspension

1. std - $1620 (preload, compression and rebound adjustable)

2. race spec - $1850 ( preload, high low compression, rebound and HEIGHT adjustable)

the above price is offer to me and my frds only.
