Just giving my 2 cents worth....

Honestly, nothing can overturn the charge of drink & ride face by your friend...but if your friend has lots of money to spare,he can engage a credible lawyer to TRY and get his sentence reduce ( to maybe absolute ridiculous hefty fines ) and save the license...But first of all, your friend should not have a previous record of conviction of any kind..worst,similar conviction..

His lawyer then has to prove beyond reasonable doubt any of the followings:

a) The detector might had a slight error.

b) The detector might not calibrated as per manufacturer/maker's requirement prior taking sample from your friend.

c) The detector might not set to fully zero prior taking sample from your friend as per manufacturer requirement.

d) Improper usage or failure to follow correct procedure as per manufacturer/maker's requirement of the detector by the officer in question

As you can see, this is no easy task and easier say than done...but its not impossible...Interviewing these officers and cross examine them for the proper procedures and instructions of calibrating these devices might 'catch' them unable to quote step by step and then up to the judge to decide if the reading of the detector was credible...

But I still rate his chances as maximum 2% of success....

I dont condone the irresponsible act of drink & drive/ride..but given the benefit of the doubt, your friend might had only a can of beer and him being him,his alcohol level shot up....

not true in singapore if u are whitde and darm rich no problem

got rich angmo dash red light and knock down someone no jail..

but he /she must be influencial.

1. Someone here have it, including me. For the price of a drink, you can have it in a nice little DVD Rom. :cheeky:

2. Lots of brands available, SW Motech (mine and Tish using), H&B, Givi, and Corbin. Price ranging from about 600 plus and up.

3. BMW grips are comfortable. But then again, your aching wrists might not be caused by the grips. Its most likely your posture.

Kallang KFC is ultimate lor. The joke is that when LTA/TP cannot hit quota, they would just head down to Kallang KFC. Like buffet there, got mod cars, mod bikes, mod scooters... in the Lorongs not far away, also got mod girls! hehehe

To all the Busa bros out there, I would like to suggest that we start a thread whereby we state down whatever 2nd hand Busa parts that we currently have in stock and would like to sell away so that newbie Busa riders (including me) who can't afford to buy a first hand Busa, won't have to go thru the hassle of trying to source out for 2nd hand Busa parts from different sources and different bike shops all over Singapore.

It'll be like a one stop 2nd hand and it'll be really convenient for us to purchase parts to make repairs to our bikes.

Well, the ball is in your court bros and I do hope I get, if not all, but some, support with regards to my above-mentioned suggestion.

Do hope to get as many feedback as possible from you guys.

See ya ...

Try RS Taichi gloves at Motorworld. Try not to rest your boddy weight on your arms.

2. Same as what AKG mentioned. just want to add there's a good brand for panniers called Trax.

3. Try using furry Hello Kitty gloves or grip. they are more comfortable and adds BHP.
