They feel that too much fuel subsidies going towards foreign cars so they ban us from pumping. What is the end result? Less people go in for day trips, shopping, entertainment. ........ blaming us because if we did not win Pedra Branca, they would not be angry and ban us from pumping there and their economy would not suffer thus resulting in higher crime rates! :angel:You think it won't happen? the news that came up on straits time yesterday is a 50km radium of no pump zone for foreign vehicles.. that includes cars lorries, taxis etc.. so i guess i would include bikes..

but hopefully some malaysian riding cub kia registered in singaporerun out of petrol and KPKP and they allow bikes to pump. hehe

safety exists on certain 2008 GSX1300RK8 model motorcycles. The ignition switch lead

wire may be improperly routed resulting in loss of electrical power and stalling of the

engine. As a result, the affected units cannot be sold at retail until corrective action is

completed.

A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) will be issued in the near future detailing the

necessary steps to correct this situation.

All part number and ordering information will be contained in the Technical Service

Bulletin. The parts will be available for immediate ordering when the TSB is released.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. We regard our customer’s safety to be of

the utmost importance. It is for these reasons that we have made this difficult decision.

wa lao! so fierce big bore until 1441cc?? my main concern is whether the same reliability will be there? i think once you big bore, alot of problem comes with it, and you cannot really go touring right?

i have installed my GPS on my bike. not actually install. my GPS is designed for cars and has a charging cable that is to be plugged into the cigarette lighter socket. hence, i just went to a car audio shop, request the uncle to fix up the socket for me under my rider seat, attached a switch, then link the wire all the way up to the handlebar. then, i bought this from bagster http://www.bagster.com/photosshowroom/1201694202SHOW-%20LecteurTechCity%20-%20accueil.jpg

 

hook onto my tank bra, place my GPS inside. then considered fix liao loh. tried and tested on a recent trip to KL. no problems at all even at 290km/h. alternatively, there's a new brand of GPS that has mounting for bikes. however, i'm not sure of what brand it is.

I rode up to hatyai and back. the onli prob i got was bike was not powerful enough with the stock echaust..
