arbine;5202500']juz wanna study the different settings n their effects for reference only, ya i agree its a personal thing but the different settings shouldn't vary too much on stock suspension...

i would like to set it to be more stable at high speeds

I've reached, with my Gen1, countless times 300km/hr with stock settings. Bike was absolutely stable. My weight 70kg.

Cheers

Yup, there should not be too much difference for stock suspension because Singaporeans generally dun bother with suspension settings.:cheeky: I have read about people who have a few different suspension settings for his bike, single rider relaxed, single rider fast, two up relaxed, two up with luggage.

I'm not a pro with suspension but I know enough to NOT meddle with it too much without expert help... so my suggestion is, get a friend who knows about suspension setting to help you with the following.

Get your rider sag adjusted first before you start meddling around with the rebound, damping and compression. If not it will never be accurate.

For stability at high speeds, I feel that Keratisini is right, if you are of average weight, with the rider sag adjusted... it should be very stable.

But if you're talking about hard braking at 280kmh to 110kmh within 300m, then I'm sure no amount of suspension adjustment would make it stable.

I better get lost before the "terrorists" come and throw bombs here.

Cheers.

In KTM range, the one with orange chassis is the higher specs.

From the reviews, the R models are not worth the extra money leh. If you going LFC tomorrow I bring the magazine show you.

I tried, bike is NIMBLE (Spelling mistake corrected by your tuition teacher!) and power is easy usable ... :thumb:

With bike like this and rider can ride it well, is untouchable in Thailand roads. :p

Go for it ... :p

Provided the bike can reach Thailand in one piece! With a freaking small fuel tank (15l) and high wear, a trip up and down would cost ALOT when you reach home. :cheeky:

Yes, has been a while ...

You go get one and then go duplicated it ... :p

not very interested.. i am now looking at air ride suspension. the reviews are very good.

just weighing the pros and cons.

it suppose to be better than conventional spring an oil based suspensions.

using air as a cushion to set yr compression and damping plus adjust ride height with different amount of air. and cheaper than ohlins!!! with 5yrs waranty.

but shall read more first.. :thumb:

Yah, you are right, its 18.5l tank. Rejet? I thought the superD is an EFI model? What rejet you referring to? Very curious leh.

R Spec not worth the money I agree ... :p

I did a brief study on their KTM range I had already know, no need to see magazine ... :p

They have two different tank. IMO, 15L still can make it.

I had rode with bikes smaller than that, like Sportster with peanut tank and Ducati Monster RS. No issues at all, just make more stops.

High wear not true, is just that their parts are 2 to 3 times more than Jap.

Local KTM management is precise and fast, parts no worries, air shipment every 3weeks.

In Malaysia Penang, they are Southeast Asia agent, support is even more superb.

Yah, anyone smart enough could have saved the extra money and buy the akra exhausts with money left over for other better stuff.

When I mentioned having doubts about KTM going for long range, I was refering to service intervals. Whats the service interval of the average KTM you know? Whats about the TOP OF THE LINE SUPERSPORTS model, what is the service interval ah?
