but how will they detect bike over car??

i now headache cause my hse carpark uses the gantry..

u need to have slim rider and slim pillion.

it think the IU unit is registered under a bike so it will be detected as a bike

02. Better suspensions

03. Better brakes

04. Price keep below 30k :p

Sports Tourers a wannabe ... :p

I wont say for the rest but interms of

BMW-BUSA

Engine power 9.5 - 9.0

Engine-power delivery 9.3 - 8.8

i dont think that a BMW can ever catch up to a busa or zx14 class.

BMW-BUSA

Fun to ride - BMW 9.0 - Busa 8.4

Quality - 9.4 - 8.7

Instruments and controls 9.1 - 8.7

Ergonomics 9.0 - 8.4

Chassis and handling 8.8 - 8.3

Suspension 9.2 - 8.2

Brakes 8.8 - 8.3

Transmission 8.8 - 8.8

also it may be subjectional but i dont think a busa is not fun to ride compared to a BMW

The instrumentations, erogs, chassis and handling and suspension maybe BMW is better :sian:

1 thing i'm sure is BMW-GSA is better handling then a BUSA..:dot:

Add: ABS, pls, rgds

ABS is very subjective. my personal thoughts is that ABS is good for all the tourers but not for sports oriented bikes. (although thay have a abs for honda cbr1000) some reviews says that without abs a rider can brake faster and better on a dry day,

but on a wet day the same rider can brake better using ABS. On snow/ice roads ABS will kill u (review by some riders overseas and of course we will not get that snow in singapore)

and a big issue on ABS is the over reliance. many ppl think that with ABS your brakes will not lock up thats a myth. there is only a limit to what a ABS will /can do. I have seem ppl riding bikes/cars with ABS and still skid.

if u are riding a sports bike.... i would expect u to be able to brake and handle the bike relatively well without an ABS . if u need an ABS then i doubt u are very suitable for a sports bike. :thumb:

I for one have mine up front on a bracket made by Seng Kwang and I have seen many other Busa riders having it up front too, just put it up with the customised bracket, it does not seem to be an issue in any way. I also got it covered with matching bike colour cover from around Ah Boy's auntie shop for weather protection.

By the way, I saw your bike even before you brought it up here, almost wanted to switch for it but decided not too as I am quite happy with my current bike's power and consumption. Your throttle twist is real sweeeeet:thumb:, even sweeter than mine but with present close supervision you might want to consider getting a street ***** kind:angel:.

Anyway, congrats on a good buy:thumb:, the farkles on the bike are realli tempting. Be wary of your speedo, you never noe dat you are already der over the limit on the expressway cruising on such powerful machines:angel:.

u can read it differently ... if u need a bike with abs then a sports bike would not be very suitable for you. one important thing about brakes is the feel. thats why ppl install steel briaded lines and aftermarket brake master pumps to get better feel. then by installing an ABS u remove all that . whats the point? :thumb:

I fully agree with Pinetreetmh on his description. Initially, I was also quite surprised dat the Busa does not come with ABS but then I was also informed of the same thing as mentioned by Pinetreetmh and after riding it I understand the true meaning of it.

ABS is not foolproof and perfect but would be great on certain touring bikes like the ST1100 and STX 1300, but not on powerful machines like the Busa.:thumb:

I guess, the 100 or 200 odd Suzuki Engineers do not want the "feel" which is why they had not planned the steel braided lines and Brake and Clutch master pumps!! Whatever the case, like you wrote: " u can read it dirrerently" so feel differently... Also, fitting the ABS, may increase the price 4-5K.. then might as well look for bmw with another extra 4-5K ..

I guess, i would need sportsbike fitted with ABS to know the difference and the feel. The RT has its a great feeling, dry or wet surface.. then again thats touring bikes... anyway, thanks for inputs.. rgds

at times ABS is quite amazing...

During the PML launching of F800 last year.I try out a GS1200 and i did a hard brake jamming on the road that happen rain N WET. quite impressive. able to have control N handle on that kind of wet condi.. i bet busa cannot do that..

just some point to share..... dont flame me.. i'm just a newbie

well

i am quite sure BMW have done pretty well in this area

eg: 1988 BMW became the world's first motorcycle manufacturer to introduce an electronic/hydraulic ABS system, this on their BMW K100.

a good read on the effectiveness of ABS.

conclude

with ABS u will be a shorter braking distance at high speed.

Master, the new ABS is hell lot better on the new vehicle. :p

It feels neutral as if there is no ABS. Doesn't come in to Kaypo anymore ... :p

That makes me so temped to try a fast ZX14 with ABS.

Really wonder what would it be braking a ZX14 with ABS at high 200plus speed ? :p

zx14 SUX.... HAYABUSA is da BEST !!:lol:
