Hi all busarians,

I had just bought a K2 busa and had convert the front fork to the k6 1k forks however I am having some problems with the fork can anyone help?

The front fork flex inwards during braking, and can any one enlighten me with regards to the spring or suspension settings. Do I need harder springs?

I am currently using the k6 1k fork, k6 1k calipers, busa triple clamp and busa original brake disc(with spacers).

Thanks in advance.

when u mean flex inward, check the tube...

nothing to do with the spring, check if the tube alignment is straight. highly the fork have been thru alot...

some of the bro who done the setup nv experience it.

the spring in the fork is already an improvement to the busa spring. if the spring is nt enuff... u may wan to change the spring to aftermarket. check ur tube 1st. gd luck.

Hee. I did not say those online maps are junk mah. I just say diff lor. :cheeky:

You mention about the AFR but i,m using the word humidity. :cheeky:

actually humidity doesnt play too much is more about the altitude differences that affects the map.. :thumb:

Erm. I,m not really good in this explaination but i think all SAE C.factor make differences ba.

Air Temperature (OAT)

Ambient Barometric Pressure

Ambient Relative Humidity

Physical Or Pressure Altitude

All this play apart ba. Thats why when after dyno our report will indicate all those unit display and most important is you HP result and Torque! Hee.:cheeky:

Just to share around and not making a scene here.

hmm someone who know wat SAE means

good

so wat does SAE 3 and 5 differ?? :p

mainly u need these

Pd = the pressure of the dry air, mb

Tc = ambient temperature, deg C

also need to know wat is the SAE that they are using

there are the SAE J1349 JUN90 and SAE J1349 AUG2004 which requires info at the intended range of air temperatures is 15 to 35 deg C, and the intended range of dry air pressures is 900 to 1050 mb, otherwise the correction will nt be accurate

pss

juz for info, dyno run at gear 4 or gear 5 will also give u different hp result too

take the reading as a reference, no need to compare too hard on them. :D
