Then it would be bloody wide too, and weigh 400kg!

I don't mind a 200hp v-twin hypersport bike. Closest thing now is the 1200cc V4 VFR... Sad!

might as well aim for a turn key 500bhp V8 engine... :cheeky:

for 0-100kph equates to ~27.8m/s

to do that in 1 sec

it'll have to accelerate at ~27.8m/s^2

that's equivalent to a forward pull of ~2.83 G

I think is not necessary to do that 1sec as an end user. :p

FYI, Apexi RSM has optional add on G-Sensor function. :p

haha.. my Veypor VR2 has G sensor too.. 3-axis somemore...

Bingo ... V-Twin. I love V-Twin ... :p

There is already 200hp V-Twin in production by Ducati.

Is gonna cost quite a bit ... :p

They claim 200hp don't know on crank or on wheel power.

You know lah ... all these marketing shiit ... :p

Don't know when will this come true ... I like 2000cc V-Twin Hypersports ... :p

Yes, Ducati 1198S. But its a sportbike, not a sport-tourer. No doubt the 1198R will easily pass 200HP at the crank.

Still waiting for a 200hp Vtwin sport tourer!

ouch, 2.83G is quite a fair bit for normal non-pilot user.

ouch, 2.83G is quite a fair bit for normal non-pilot user.

actually is quite low only la.. our tolerance is up to 17G

The human body is better at surviving g-forces that are perpendicular to the spine. In general when the acceleration is forwards, so that the g-force pushes the body backwards (colloquially known as "eyeballs in"[12]) a much higher tolerance is shown than when the acceleration is backwards, and the g-force is pushing the body forwards ("eyeballs out") since blood vessels in the retina appear more sensitive in the latter direction.

Early experiments showed that untrained humans were able to tolerate 17 g eyeballs-in (compared to 12 g eyeballs-out) for several minutes without loss of consciousness or apparent long-term harm.[13] The record for peak experimental horizontal g-force tolerance is held by acceleration pioneer John Stapp, in a series of rocket sled deceleration experiments in which he survived forces up to 46.2 times the force of gravity for less than a second. Stapp suffered lifelong damage to his vision from this test.[14]
