if i'm not wrong, for 2002-present busa, all gears have rpm restriction. the 6th gear restrction is not only the rev limiter but also the top speed limiter.

meaning - at 6th gear, once u're speedo needle touches 300km/h mark, the bike won't go any faster, even before the rev reached its limit.. just my 2cents :cheeky:

 

Erm, I'm riding the Gen 2 version. By the time it hit 10.5k rpm, it is ard touching the 300 mark. But of course, after that, there seems like no more power left. So it all relaying on slope, tailwind or slight bend to slowly creep to 11k rpm line then I can feel the power lose effect. Since the rpm is still moving, the speed should still be increasing except you can't see it on the meter. Maybe it is due to some callibration error?

 

As for other gears, if I'm not mistaken, I accidently went into the red zone before. But come to think of it, maybe that happen when i drop too much gear then it went into the red zone.

and yes u shld jio ppl out for kopi to understand. go organise an outing on friday nite on lavendar fc. set abt 9+

then ppl who is gd will turn out and enjoy the kopi.

 

take note some prefer cooling white "kopi" with a lot of bubble :p

Now this is confusing... Dont know what is true liao.. Some is saying the restriction is at 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear... Now i see the restriction is on the 6th gear!!!

 

So which is which?? And the Gi-pro TRE is to get rid of this right??

simple to say is

most tre simply map gear 6 to gear 5

1-N-2-3-4-5-6 to 1-N-2-3-4-5-5

 

for gi pro

u get to "select" 4 - 5 - 6

in the manual it tell u to map to 5.

which is the "restriction" remove

 

dun ask me if i know the restriction at which rpm

i only able to pull till 10k then change gear after which eyes on road liao. my ball nt that hard...and it auto become smaller :D

use speedohealer la, at least it will improve the speedo reading accuracy.

300km/h on stock speedo is actually 274km/h only...

just adjust the sh to positive instead of negative. for eg. if u r actually

travelling at 90kph your speedo shows 300kph :angel:

Ya, true speed is always slower than speedometer speed by ~10%. But nay, speedhealer expensive. And it not the speed that I am looking for, its the ride/trip. :cheers:
