Sometimes I really dun understand why suzuki put the gen 2 rectifier at where it is located now. Imagine all the dirt and water etc always slashing onto it. Like a small mud guard...LOLZ...hope your alternator is ok...that will cost abit after labours and gasket etc...

As far I know can be a few things:

-frame sliders

-the rubber mount below the top yolk (must remove and grease)

-if you have carbon fiber console also have the problem

Hope this helped...I'm riding a 07 model too....welcome and cheers! come for the meet up if you're free...

Thanks bro

The rectifier runs hotter than GEN1's... so keeping it at the original position will melt the tail fairing...

There's no replacement for displacement except for a blower

After changing my rectifier, everything looks ok. Tested the alternator at no load, voltage output well above spec. But I noticed my voltage is still lower than before when the ex rectifier is working. But still follow spec at 14.14v. So I'll ride first.

There are ppl having burnt rectifier when they shifted it to the tail. Maybe that why Suzuki placed it outside for it to be air cooled.

Best accessories to beautify are those which can provide you dual purposes.

Bling Bling and Functionality.

A set of Ohlins front and rear + a pair of Brembo big pistons monobloc calipers.

It should get you under 7k after some discount. :p

After this is done, Suzuki Hayabusa weaknesses is gone.

Whatever the rider skill level is, he/she can push himself/herself another 30% beyong the bounderies. :p :P :p

Please don't quote me whoever go buy 2nd hand.

really can get 7k? wa seh you always got good lobang but never tell me lo!! but you talking about Gen1 or Gen2? o_O

Comon people.....This tread so active but only 3 people confirmed?

I'm sure you guys can do better than this....do ask your freinds to join in too!

This meet up is open to all class and makes....No discrimination whatsoever…

Bikers in general should stick together regardless of what you ride.

Cheers to all!
