I think the base is just a few bucks on ebay....

Forget to tell: make a hole small enough for the latch to lock in...and small screws for the latch as it is too thick for the rivet...

See pic..

You can "hide" a lot of things there: like cigarettes, condom, DVD...and etc etc...a girl friend perhaps..muah ha ha...

While we are at the topic of mods, can someone please enlighten me on how the hand rail that I see in some pictures is attached around the hump?

Thank you in advance for your input.

Thank you in advance for your input.

You need to cut out the edge of the hump where it touches the guard rail...go to hayabusa.org for more details and pics of mod....

bling bling?

Is not bling bling effects ... there are 04 truth about rotary damper is better than normal conventional damper. :p

01. The Design.

Design is "roundish" and compact. In events of accident, nothing stick out like rest top mount dampers that possibly hurt the rider.

Overall mounting on the bike top trees is very neat.

02. Dampering Speed

Only rotary design offers high and low speed damper adjustments, rest are one straight forward clicking.

03. Dampering Angle Coverage

Only rotary dampers gives you angle coverage adjustments for its better precision and sensitivity.

04. Direct Yoke Design

It has 02 mounting types. On top trees plate or onto the top steerling yoke.

By far, only rotary dampers offer you direct yoke mounting. This direct pick up the most shaking information from front wheel before it transfer to rest of your bike complete front assembly.

Scotts Damper company initially start design for scramblers, over many years of success, Ohlins company had bought over their rotary design in recent years and selling almost 40% higher in price.

Hope all these helps. :D

Hey Budd, forget that fixing of hand rail. Ang-mo like showcase their bike, we like functionality.

The hand rail got quite among of weight. More weight bearing on top is huge different from bearing at close CG bike bottom. Busa is quite good in taking bends, more weights gives you more shiity feels in the bends.

Thats is why supersports want its need design with exhaust holding below near the CG.

Voted best cornering bike of world production till date is Buell. I had seen and try on. Every bits of engineering works, they had manage to design the most weight bearing hardwares close to the CG and kept it in the middle of the wheelbase. This make the bike superior in cornering.

Hope this helps and stop thinking how to cut your hump. :D

Simply put,The higher the number the higher the max power comes on in the rpm band/range.The opposite with lower numbers.Cam profiles and the motor's static compression are guide lines to go by on how high a number you would use.The more over lap you have the faster the motor has to spin to out run this pressure loss.
