Hi guys and girls,

 

I follow the discussion about breaks. As you may know, some of you, I'm hardcore "original". I'm riding my bike for a year and I never had any problem with my breaks. I do find changing the breaks is waste of money. They might improve the breaking power of the bike but that could only be compared on the track and not on daily use. If you speed, then no matter what breaks you have installed is no use. I used the bike on the NSHW and had a few emergency breaking. So far the standerd breaks performed excellent. I never tried different breaks and to be honest I do not really care to try as I'm happy with the standard ones.

 

Modification, to my opinion, serves two purposes. Either to personalize the bike or frequent use of track. Other than that is really waste of money. I rather spend these money on high quiality fuel and good maintainance of the bike. Put TRE, exhaust pipes etc etc, might improve bikes performance but at the end of the day 90% you still go side-by-side with KIAs and CUPs (speed limit).

 

maybe you should try other's brakes. maybe you will have a better idea of why people upgrade their brakes. no point you have only a one sided view of things. if you have tried the other brakes and still feel comfortable with the stock ones, then :thumb: if you have not tried the after-market brakes, i dun think its a fair judgement to pass saying stock is good enough. :p

hi guys....changing to a ICEKOOL coolant to HAYA is it recommended?Any Special Effect? Pls advice...

 

ICEKOOL i dun know got any special effect of changing your bike or not. maybe can make it more l ike Matrix. :p but personally i using Engine Ice. :thumb: can really feel the heat reduced alot. :angel:

i can only agree with your opinions to a certain extend. upgrade of brakes is not waste of money. to me, if you have a 200HP bike, your braking must be of 600HP. no point you cant slow down your bike fast enough, even if your bike can go fast enough. :cheeky:when having so much braking power, you need to adjust and practise and to learn how to use it. same goes for the stock brakes. the stock brakes are much under-powered, especially at high speed. yes, there are people who had done the mission of pushing the bike to the limits with stock brakes, but will the situation had been better with upgraded brakes? if the person is not skillful enough to use the stock brakes and judge its braking power according to the speed he's travelling, it'll be disatrous.

yup... :thumb: but mod to yr needs .. not mod to others needs. busa A have it doesnt mean busa B need it as well. stock brake system sucks so its highly recommended to upgrade.. but upgrade to which extend???

so it up to individual needs. otherwise its a waste of money.. just liek a guy cna add turbo , NOS etc.. but he don dare to use it.. wates teh point?

chg brake hose, brake pads and if possible a master pump.. good enough ...

unless u going track. then maybe u need more.. :thumb:
