does anyone know the diff between a 2 way alarm and a 1 way alarm??? can pls enlighten me?

2 way meaning. when someone molested your bike, the remote control will notify you..

 

1 way alarm . produce music to scare the molester away only

2 way alarm.. if activated.. the alarm tat fixed on ur bike will make noise + the remote control will oso vibrate/make noise(provided ur remote is within the range)

 

1way alarm.. if activated.. only the alarm fixed on the bike make noise.....

 

 

PS: if u dun mind spending the $$, of coz it is better to have.. coz it will not 100% make sure ur bike wont be stolen, but at least it can deter...

Depends on the alarm you are getting. Some are easy to connect up while others are a pain to do....not actually pain la...only tedious to do...takes more time.

 

I have been using scorpio alarm for 4 yrs plus now. Been happy with it. Easy to setup and the instructions very clear.

hooking up the alarm is not hard if you just want it to sound when someone disturb your bike.. Just normal connect +/- and it's DONE~~ lolx.. If you wan your signal lights to go off, den have to tap to signal lights. If you wan ignition to start, than you have to connect to ignition.

 

Bear in mind that some brands of alarm, some remote start has time limit.. after you remote start for certain time, it will auto off.. Min is 10min.. and it will auto off after that.. tried to run longer than that, but bike die off in the middle of road.. most of the time.. it's more for short distance ride..
