hi guys

 

i am having a problem with my desktop computer.

 

when i turn it on, it will keep restarting when its still at the start up screen. like it will go to the " windows xp loading screen " then suddenly restart.

 

sometimes load until desktop, it will also suddenly restart on its own.

 

at the moment, this auto restart issue does not occur every single time. i still manage to load successfully to desktop without any restart sometimes.

 

why is this so?

when starting windows, spam f8 and load safemode.

 

if safemode works, its your software.

PSU, RAM, CPU, Drivers.

 

Try fleas method, remove the "Drivers" contribution, if safe mode works, best to reformat HDD.

 

Else, it's probably the other hardware.

ok i will try that method. right now still can load successfully. but soon it will come back again

Check your Windows Log files. It may tell what is happening. It could be hardware or software.

 

Start > All Programs > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer
