Hi guys,im new here..got some trouble with my vespa..hope u guys can help me to troubleshoot..try to kickstart then after a few kick its backfire..why eh?check my sparkplug its not 'wet'..sometimes it do start n sometimes it don't..clear carbon also seems doesnt work..hope u guys can share ur knowledge..thanks

Try changing to a new plug bro ... only $2.50. 150s use NGK B7HS and 200s B7ES. Can use "8" too but only if you intend to do a lot of highway riding.

im thinking of buying a scoot either the PX 200 or 150. Any pointers that i should look out when viewing the bike from the owners?

Btw buying from fellow motorist is better or getting from the shop?

Visit a few dealers and familiarise yourself with how a scooter should look. What do the control feels like? How strong is the compression as you push down on the kick start? How bouncy is the suspension? Look at as many as you can and hear them running. It will help when it comes to checking one out for yourself. Next, start enquiring about scooters for sale. You might want to ask some of them before commiting to a viewing. There are plenty of dealers around, and the local scooter shop may even have a vespa tucked away in a corner. Dealers always charge more as they have overheads to cover. The good side of buying from a dealer, is that they have clear, legal responsibilities, so you'll have some redress if anything goes wrong. If you feel that professional help is needed, try to find specialist who can look it over for you..have a nice scoot:cool:
