I am getting more than 30km per litre for mine, so, its quite good. Check out the bikes for sale category or u can visit Tong Aik or Ah Joo. Maintenance is low bro ... apart from 2T which lasts pretty long, spark plugs are super cheap at about $2 (only need one) and a gear oil change which is equally reasonable.

Not impossible to find.. But of course not really in good condition like paintwork. Engine can still work fine. The only thing u need to care about 2 Stroke Vespa model is 2t... Apart from that, maintenance is quite cheap...Been using my PX(2nd bike) for 8 years no major issue.

 

If looks doesn't matter to you, u can get one below 1k at the shops you mentioned. Of course like I say probably paintwork, body will be koyak. But once you got enough money at a later stage I'm sure you can work on it.
