Fellow Vespa 150 sprint owners, I'm trying to locate the chassis number. The inspection technician said should be at the right side after removing the side carriage. Googled and this is one of the possible location also. Scrapped the paint away but didn't see...Please advise. By the way, how to post pic here?

Anyone knows the average petrol consumption for a px150 stock engine?

Tires pressure about 180 front, 220 back

Single rider - 73kg thereabouts

Mainly travelling on expressway

I get about 25-28km/l, is that normal for bikes of this make?

TIA!

i get about 30kmpl

tire pressure: 190 front, 200 back

single rider - 90kg

average highway speed 60kph

having said that, your FC seems to be on the high side

Of course I trust my skills. I ride alone cos I don't trust the competency of the driver next to me.

Any experienced PX or Sprint vespa owners or mechanic? I am looking for a non auto ones, and just got my licence. Want to look around and shop at TA, Carousel, somewhere else(you can suggest) and inspect the condition, but I know nuts about it. I don't want to kena chop carrot by the shop or owner. I would like someone who's very knowledgeable about vespas to be an objective person who is able to understand the internal mechanics of the bike so that I won't have buyer's remorse. For your efforts, I will be willing to pay a small amount of money per hourly for your time and effort....So do PM me if you are willing...

Hi guys, just got my first vespa, been meaning to get one for a long time and finally committed to it. Mine is registered as sprint in 1978, but brought to mech and said its a Px. The back section does not have the little hump that sprint has. Would like to ask is it possible for it to be registered wrongly or did prev owner chopped the body? Because the chassis number had been re stamped by lta. Its a rojak scoot now, wish i had known more before getting it. Any advice?
