Forex Trading. Anyone into this?

Hi guys, have been trading on Forex nowadays.

Trying to self-learn but it's not easy. Will like to ask fellow friends here to share some knowledge. Thanks in advance.

i somehow study on the basics of forx and been game trading for about 3-4 mths. but when to the part of signing up, i can see alot of hassle like guarrantor etc.. then i lazy liao. maybe can find partner trade hee.

The whole market has been anticipating MAS shifting the currency band of the SGD downwards. coupled with the very encouraging GDP figures, MAS did just that days ago, bringing the SGD stronger by 200pts against the greenback.

 

i've been selling usd since 1.4100 but i think 1.37 is about right.

it was almost 1 sometime not too long ago before the carry trade cracked.

Hey Shin, beware of unscrupulous trading platforms online which do not use the real market data. Instead their softwares work against you when you trade with real money. It's all fine and dandy at the trial stage when you're using their virtual cash.

 

Other than that, be happy with small wins. You could choose to be a technical trader or a news trader, or a mixture of both. Don't let your emotions get the better of you, thinking you can make more and more. Lots of discipline required. I tried my hand in this when I was 19, lost a good amount of $1000 +.

didnt know this kinda thing also exists (wonder if TOTO also lidat!), but if trade on MAS regulated trading house like Philips, Fundsupermart is ok?

There are diff requirements for different platforms and account types. Can try CMCmarkets or SAXO. SAXO requires 5000 for normal account
