Just found this threat, will keep eye on it, sure will go with you to enjoy the flight if timing fits. Next Saturday should be ok. Hope to join you! (I have no license, just wanna feel the flight).

All of this Saturday's sorties* are fully booked. Therefore, I'm flying Friday morning(17th June). Anyone?

Even though I try my best to book weekend mornings, Understandably these slots need to be booked about 2 weeks earlier for obvious reasons.

Due to my work commitments, I do not book these sorties too early as it is not worth shifting my work rosters around.

However, if you inform me that much earlier I would be glad to make some adjustments.

Hope you understand my situation.

BTW I am not threatening anyone here in this Thread;)

I am interested to fly with you on weekends. I would also like to know how can i get ratings for that plane you mentioned the AT-4LSA. I think That's a Diamond. I have taken down your contact number here's mine 96306357.

Cool. Do you have a PPL from Malaysia or anywhere else?

(Have to be a PPL holder to get the rating)

I've written your number down on my little phone book.

You can SmS me for any queries that you want to keep private, but if it's not that private....better to communicate here as all members get to read them.

The At-4 is very very similar to the diamond but it's not. It is a plane made in Poland and its name itself is "AT-4". It uses "Mogas" as fuel unlike the others which use "Avgas".

when i golf at occ, i frequently see cessnas fly pass and sometime it seems/sounds like they shut down their engine and glide, then restart engine.

Anyone know why?

Hello huei44, occ means orchid country club? Cuz tht country club its near seletar airport and usually they simulate engine failure after take off which requires the trainee pilot to glide down safely for a landing.

Important thing to see among the light blue font is 'RM380 per hour' to rent the aircraft.

interesting~~ i wanna go for joy flying~~ XD

Yes, we all wanna go if we can afford it. Flying still remains the most exclusive and enjoyable form of transport and is expensive for most people.

You serious they do engine-out landings at Seletar?

I think most students there are from YFC.. Personally, I wouldnt trust a 16 year old with raging hormones to land a plane, let alone one without power. LOL

Yea they do it. Just fyi, what if I told u that a "16 year old with raging hormones" is allowed to fly the plane alone? (No instructor inside...jst the student) Hahah:angel:

Haha yes, I know solo flight is part of the PPL requirements.

But jus remembered the old joke about why airlines didnt hire females in the past..

Anw, why is the flight deck also known as the cockpit? :)

Hey Guys

Just wanted to find out any reviews for the flying clubs in Johor. I am looking at Elite Flying Club, Johor Flying Club and FRAS Flying Club. I am an EP holder in Singapore and would there be any problem joining any of these flying clubs to get my PPL. And are there any other clubs in Johor which are better than the above three.

Let me know.

Hi, if you can take leave off your work, or school, I will gladly recommend flying schools in US, Arizona. 1month is all you need, and cost 7200USD for the whole training, not including checkrides, lodging and meals though. And you are getting FAA issued license. I'm currently halfway thru my training, will be back end of Jan. If you are interested, pm me for more info...

P.s. I just soloed yesterday!!!! Woohoo...
