Renewal of insurance

Is there anyway i can renew insurance for just half a year ?

or die die must it be 1 yr as per what my bike shop mentioned ..

cus my insurance expiring 8/5 but i selling bike on july ..

doesnt make sense for me to extend so long ?

think u have to call u up ur insurer to ask about the renew. plus company may vary to company.

 

normally is do refund if ur insurance n road tax expire on the same day. refund as in pro rated amount return to u by insurer of the balance value, but might deduct some admin charge.

renewal is one year, unused coverage will be refunded but minus some percentage......

can renew for 6 months. i renewed my insurance for 11 days before in order to renew road tax.
