Neon/LED lights information

Hi, I am thinking to put Neon/LED lights on my SP at meter, pole lights and under the seats and want to know when inspection time, Wat shall i do to pass. I heard must go to any garage and ask them to take out and go for inspection. Than after passing go back and they put back for u. How much will it cost to take out and put back? Pls dun mind explaining as i kinda new to all this. thank you.

well to install and take out after that is quite troublesome. I will suggest u to install a switch to on/off ur LED. As for installing on the meter i am not too sure izzit acceptable anot but as for other area strongly advicable to install a switch for them.

Ouh thanks alot bro. But the inspection people will not know why is there a switch there or like will they turn it on or something to see? And what is diff between NEON lights and LED lights. which is more brighter and save battery. thanks

just install a switch, during inspection they wont care what the switch is for as long u dont turn it on. as long ur basic functions dont trigger those lights, they dont care what other lights u installed, as long as they're not on during inspection.

 

as for the meter, last few times i went, they didn't check, so i'm guessing it's all right as long as u dont mod ur meter itself.

i think pole light tp might catch.

as long as any additional light that's obvious from the side, front and back, they will book u. but if u install a switch, just off it when u spot a tp, if they want to book u, just beg for mercy, saying u forgot to off. a light that can be off is in a better position to beg than a light that cannot.

for all internal lights, nobody can catch u, like ur box internal light (motor dont have much interial to put lights anyway). meter is consider as internal (if i'm not wrong), as long the lights are not pointing outwards.

as for neon and led, i've not seen any bikes with neon. led are considered much expensive but r brighter which consume less power. (however if u're putting lights, how much power it consume is not a major concern, don't put any lights save most power. )

hahaha. i take note on that bro. Ya me 2, i also seen alot people put LED than neon. i think i shall get LED than. I just wana put the LEDs in meters and under seat. LOL. thanks again

If You Have LED Strips Fixed On Ur Bike, Just Put Those Black Masking Tape Over It & Ure Done. Those Vicom People Wont Bother To Ask U Why Got Tape There Or What. Thats What One Bikeshop Did When My Friend Ask Them To Send His Bike For Inspection. After Inspection, Peel It Off.

i installed additional led light as brake light n go for inspection, i forgot to disable it, was asked to take out, then i open my seat n dc the wire, tested b4 him the lights disabled, he let me pass.

 

but really depend on the center n whos doing the inspection, they can't really fail u for putting a decorating light that cannot be on. (but dont over do it) i think they dont care if tape or not, but if u kia si, just tape lor.

Just Dont On Infront Of Them Or Tape It Over Incase Kena Those Super ON Inspectors. But Just Play Safe Lorr. You Wudnt Wanna Gamble Then Kena Come Back The Next Day Right?

Btw wat is HID lights? i mean i saw people put on their bike at the headlights. And it looks super duper bright man. its like light blue colour. wow But putting this light on my SP will it consume my batt more or just normal? And can pass inspection?

if got switch, just pull off the switch. it cant be turn on or off. after inspection put it back.
