TP test index number

Recommended Posts

I remembered at SSDC, the TP test candidates' index numbers were given based on age; IIRC the youngest candidate gets #1, and oldest, the biggest number.

Any insiders know the reason for the arrangement? Didn't occurred to me to ask previously.

for bbdc, i think its the same type of arrangement too.

1-90

oldest to youngest

i think maybe that is the easiest way to arrange everybody.

anyway something OT: the usage of the word index number in your post reminds me of secondary school, where i always hear that word. feeling nostalgia now. haha.

Thought that's done in order for them to apply the statistics (shan't say quota). Take the median age, and apply the "rules", maybe say:

Age below median: Passing rate = 20%

Age above median: Passing rate = 40%

So from there, they can tell the public: Look, only xx% of the young riders passed due to inexperience... The more mature riders are more likely to pass their TP test... blah blah blah.

Can't imagine how that would be 'implemented' but that's an interesting thought

In SSDC, numbering starts with foreign IC first, then by Singapore IC, which is smallest number to largest number. Since our IC numbers begin with our year of birth, it therefore means the older ones go first.

During my Class 2 test last week, I was number 5 *koff koff*
