Would you care to describe more?

Ticking from exhaust pipe cooling usually exists after turning OFF the engine.

Can put your ear close to the engine and listen where exactly the sound originates from; is it on the top of the engine? (cam lifter height, cam tensioner/chain issue, or starting with lean mixture - tune carb idle jet)

Piston? (combustion knock, like diesel taxi)

I'll try to locate the sound ,

but it comes out onli when engin cold, sound gone after warming up,

just wanna knw anyone here encounter this problem. Thanks anyway

When was the last time you did a valve clearance check?

What you are hearing is probably valve chatter due to excessive clearance between the valve and cam.

When the engine is hot.. the valve stem and camshaft expands and the clearance become smaller and the sound reduces... its not gone.. its just softer.

Yep, see link above in my post. Increasing valve clearance means a bit more power at the expense of noise when cold.

When warm the valves expand and you get "normal" clearance. Too low a valve clearance and you risk piston ramming the valves at TDC (top dead centre) which is BAD.

So long as it doesn't sound like Comfort Taxi, you're fine. As again it's great you are taking precautions and listening closely to your bike!
