hey guys

i experience a problem shifting gears on my rxk. it used to be fine, however, after riding it home today on the PIE, the gear shift lever became very hard to "kick", and i have difficulties changing from gear 1 to N and from N to gear 1. is it due to the fact that the engine is overheated? because traffic on the PIE was quite bad today.

thanks.

How about ur clutch lever, is it hard to clutch in?

nope the clutch lever works fine. i think might be engine oil needa change liao.. but i changed it 1000km ago... dunno the prob. just hope nothing major. now everytime i down gear to gear 1 will have a loud sound, like the chain hitting the swingarm i think.

try loosen out your clutch . it MIGHT help.

is your clutch very near? as in release clutch abit and then the bike can move?

also check your clutch adjuster at the other end.

you down gear, the sound is 'KETAK' sound right? and i assume it's the same when u wanna shift to other gears, not only 1 t0 N or N to 1 ...

shouldn't be the clutch plates for now ...
