NSR 125 - Hornet or the older model?

First main problem is the mounting points... 100% the mounting screw holes and brackets doesn't fit. You have to Fab metal brackets (STEADY ONES) to compensate for the misalignment.

Next, Headlight doesn't match. You again have to fab brackets. and crack head how to mount it securely.

You are risking the Vibrations, and worst case the fairing might get ripped off during high speed (likely u will get to eat tarmac!). NOT WORTH IT.

If you like the 125 hornet go get one (96 - 98, I think). it is a rare and nice bike, but should be cheap and into the 2nd COE.

Seriously, custom isn't cheap. Off the shelve Race fairing already cost so much... Customising a "single" piece :faint:

Save the $$$, get your class 2A or 2, there are high performance & BETTER looking bike out there.

I wonder why NSR125 isn't popular like SP. Its bigger and definitely more stable den SP. I also remember back den there was this honda 150cc 2 stroker that looks like a mini-blackbird! lighter den sp, so power to weight ratio better. But too bad, didn't caught on as well..

That 150cc 2 strocker was a Honda FSX 150cc, double swingarm and blackbird like eyes....

My friend used to ride one, ppl also thought it was a KR.

During 1993 to 1994, Mah Motors brought in small numbers.

Machine price was very expensive back then.....Somemore Italian carburetor(Del Orto) and engine components(Gilardoni 1 and 2).

hey mate, I was told by Mr Lim that during those years, the TZR 125RR( uk specs )also came into our shores in small numbers.. have you heard or seen them?

I really missed my TZR years... tho the later years traded in with the SP, but still finds the Yamaha`s ride more tougher than the Thai Honda`s.

Yes....

The Belgarda TZRs....

They have the same power profile.

There are a few still left in Singapore.

Belgarda is the place of assembly for the Italian TZR.

Atessa is the place of assembly for the Italian NSR.:thumb:
