Is there any difference between the choice of tank pads for different model of bikes say R1 or blade or ninja? I mean i'm riding a 600, so will the tank pad size be different?

 

Btw what is the usefulness of tank pads and which shop is worth the money?

i guess difference is only in the designs and brands and price of the tank pads itself. no difference on the bike u are riding.

 

it prevent ur zippers, buttons, belt buckle from scratching on the tank surface itself.

As mentioned by natgw,

 

The tank pad prevents your tank from getting scratched by various items such as your zipper, belt, button fly, Jacket strings etc etc.

 

The value is dependent on how particular you are about your bike appearance. Sports bikes tend to require this product alot more due to the posture.

 

What ppl pay more for is probably the design, size or quality.

 

There are various models available in the market with different sizes and designs.. I think the best place to get one would either be Regina or Motorworld. I have seen those that carry the same design as the brand of bike and even model and different colour combinations.

 

Or you can choose to get a customised tankpad from Juzz Wheels.

Thanks for all ur replies =) yupz I've check out regina but the designs left are limited, I quite like the phoenix but its sold out, new ones will come in only 3 weeks later sianz.. well will check out motorworld on saturday haha...

as been said above, these tankpad are used so dat ur zippers or watever wun scratch our precious bike tank paintwerk..

u got raceshield redi scratch with screwdriver oso ok! hahaha..

 

btw i think the price range for tankpads ard 20bux can get?

normal carbon fibre plain design..

I tip for u guys...I brought my tank pad & gas cap pad from ebay...total SGD 12 buck only include shipping fee. U must have think my tank pad design suck...my design is a real life hot japan female model in bikini...& i am rubbing her everytime when riding....wahahahaha...no kidding.
